I’ve seen people recommend lots of teams without Landorus and I don’t get it. Despite the nerf it’s still extremely strong, and arguably anti meta now with all that Rhyperior running around.

It's cause it's part of the meta, lots of rhyperior counters are also lando counters. Like kyogre, all the tapus (which is really anti meta), waterfall prima

I feel like almost everything not named Ho-Oh or Lugia has the ability to hit Rhyperior effectively. Tapu Bulu, Xerneas, Landorus, Dragonite, Kyogre, Groudon, Palkia, Dialga, Gyarados, Zarude, Primarina, just the first few I could think of, lol. Rhyperior is good at having play into everything, but everything can hurt it back, too.

Many of the top teams aren’t recommending it as are other content creators releasing teams for it. It’s definitely still extremely viable but because of new toy syndrome and the fact people are scared to use it after the nerf it’s unironically very underrated despite how meta it still is.

Imo landorus is still good, the mud shot nerf/rebalance isnt that bad as now mud shot does much more damage it has some better play into stuff like a dialga origin (can get a full mud shot down after a single sandsear, previously two moves needed to be thrown) the improved damage output seems to add up quickly
