I believe you can run TC with the diff locked as well.

It is possible to enable through modifications but if done will likely break something in the drive train. By default traction control is disabled when the center diff lock is engaged.

@@christophermeyers1 It won't break anything. It just confuses the ecu when you engage the CDL. If you fit the later TC ECU it's fine. That's what Land Rover did when they offered the CDL as an option after one or two owners complained about removing the option. Info can be found here: www.discovery2.co.uk/

You can indeed - the vehicle doesn't get confused either, the TC simply gets used less as the CDL keeps the wheels from slipping more. I fitted a latching switch so I can choose if I want it on or off (off for sand). Works a treat.

It worked fine whole time I owned the truck...I did modify my design at some point with an extra swivel joint as I wrongly believed it would make it easier to select diff lock...in the end this first version worked best and reliabley
