@@zenamplification Thank you!I love the way you document everything. I know that every guitar type, pickup, speaker, etc. can affect the tone. Some in subtle ways and some in dramatic ways. It may not be apparent to the listener, but it is to the player. Thanks for all the work you guys put into the show. I'm sure it will be a great help to tone seekers everywhere.

I just saw Randy McStine in Philadelphia using a Landry amp with Porcupine Tree. I think it was this model, and he sounded great!

I had a LS100 G3 and it was a good versatile amp. Lost out to a 1980 JMP 2303 which just had THE sound.

Yep pretty hard to beat an early 2203 but the Landry is one of our faves for sure - super versatile as you say.

I gotta say, if I closed my eyes and didn’t realize I clicked on this, I’d swear I’m hearing my Ecstasy. That liquid, sinewy goodness with that vocal midrange, except with more upper mid presence. That is what a rock amp should sound and feel like.

Yep it's a cracker. The clean channel can be ordered as 'dirty' clean if you want a more low gain plexi option. This one has the pure clean, and it really is.

Great videos guys. Wasn’t digging the Landry until I did a back to back with your JCM800 video and they really sound the same. Whats your take of them in the room?

The Landry is pretty 2203-like but feels 'greasier' to play if that makes sense. It's more forgiving and less harsh with a slightly more compressed feel. Great amp, our only gripe is that some handy controls are on the back, making them hard to access. Extra hard when you have a ridiculous wall!

The Landry is more Marshally, with most of the snarl and bite of a 2203. Soldanos tend to be a little thicker, less upper-mid aggression and better for lead tones. That's generalising of course, both great amps with a lot of versatility.

Have owned Mesa Marks, a Ceriatone Dumble, a 5e3, Princetons, a Benson, and various other amps. I will never ever part with my Landry LS30. It can do anything from clean cleans to hotrodded Marshall to modern metal (with an sd1 to tighten up the goods). It takes pedals in front or in the loop like s champ and its built like a brick shithouse.
