Man, you really can't please anyone, can you? 🤣💀 Talk about keeping up with the Joneses - "our mountains t'arent as a majestic as their mountains, precious Foompsie - whatever shall we do?!" That is some beyond next-level bougieness if I ever seen it, lolol. I do love the reference to the triumphal arch and the bold artistic decision to have a black man standing over a white woman. Very cool image, despite the ways people have no chill. 😋

An attempt at inspiration, yet unfortunately we feel daily how fragile our attempts at Republicanism are, especially when constructed on the loose and limp sands of racism and exploitation ... We've yet to conceive of a republic for all peoples, which likely would mean the abolition of the conception of nation states themselves. Thank you
