Hey John I have a couple of questions What do you using to clean your brushes after you use them? What are you using for the shading in the mountains? What are you using to make the leaves on the trees? I just started painting turns out I enjoy it but struggling a little on utensils to use

Thanks for showing this art Jon. Like it. How do you finish the sides of the canvases ?
@JonBarberArt2 жыл бұрын
Hi Karsten, No problem, Thank you very much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment, feedback, and the question, I really appreciate it :) I just finish the sides of the canvas with the colours that are on the edge of the painting so if it's black on the edge of the painting i'll do the sides of the canvas black and so on :) hope this helps, It's also nice to hear you like it :)

Great job love your art. Rookie question Jon. I have some Montana caps and some krylon paint. I can’t figure out how to put the cap on. When removing the Krylon cap there is a stem coming out of the can. When looking at the Montana there’s a stem coming from that also. Am I to pull the stem out of the Krylon paint? I’m sure I’m making this harder than it is. But would appreciate your help.
@JonBarberArt2 жыл бұрын
Hi Mike, Thank you very much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment, feedback, and the question, I really appreciate it :) Ok, the Krylon can should have the stem sticking out the can and the cap gets pushed on to the stem, The cap should have a hole in it for the stem to go in, where as the montana can should have no stem in the can as the stem is built in to the cap and you push the cap in the hole in the top of the can, if you a stem sticking out of the montana can then the stem has snap off the cap this can happen while its in transit if it's not packed right, i've had it happen to me, if that is the case all you have to do is pull the stem out with something, but the cap is useless then as the stem is not there, It's kind of hard to explain in words but i hope it makes sense, i have a video on my channel which shows what i'm on about with the stems maybe watch that as well then you can see what im on about as i explain it in the video, the link to the video is kzbin.info/www/bejne/rKu2p6GLj9-am8k hope this helps :)
