Landscape photo editing quick tips - Graduated filter
Using the Graduated filter in Adobe Lightroom is a really powerful way to affect a region of an image with a natural looking falloff. I use the graduated filter in most of my landscape and architecture shots particularly during sunrises, sunsets.
Getting these tips down can really help make your images pop and give them extra bit of wow factor.
In recent releases of lightroom Adobe added the ability to take the settings from the graduated filter and use them with a brush. This is a great way to add to a graduated filter for areas of the image that fall outside of its range.

One more tip: when you use "brush" in grad filter- if you hold Alt, it will erase grad filter effect in those areas where you applied brush painting.

Thanks. It's hard to see the mouse in the video. I watch most of my KZbin vids on my Galaxy S6.

Can you get the same effects by using Adobe filters, or will quality 'real' filters always give better images?
