Thank You! My DJI Air 2 S came crashing down, not sure why, so I just bought a Potensic Atom to replace it. The Atom does not have the capabilities of the DJI but I believe I can get by without all the goodies. I am giving my drone and all that goes with it to someone else. The Atom is under the required weight so does not require registration.

Hi! It's interesting that people find the wreck of the Polaris enjoyable to visit. I worked aboard the Polaris 10 years ago. It's sad to see her wating away like this. But, nothing lasts forever. Thanks for the memories.

Great video but one thing I don’t agree with you you said you wouldn’t recommend it if someone was using their cell phone. I need my cell phone for years. This thing is freaking amazing. I love it so easy so so easy definitely buy it for all the reasons he says he likes.

Hi, sorry i love your trick for remembering airspace classes & their colors. However, I think you have a slight error there. Isn't class "E" airspace "Faded" Magenta not "dashed" as you say? Isn't "dashed" Magenta class "G" airspace, or am I missing something? Please let me know. Thanks.

Thanks! To clarify there are a few different indicators for Class E: Dashed from surface to 700AGL Faded from 700-1200 Faded blue from 1200 above I am doing this from memory I haven't looked at them from years. Glad you found it helpful!

Since your post, I’d like to know if you found a fix for the remote when I go to get my fly safe list, it does not come up. I cannot find it, and I cannot open it up in the settings for the drone. I know where they are the settings, but they are not there. List and I cannot fly with this remote controller. I can with a normal remote controller.

Thanks for the video! I'm taking my test tomorrow. You don't have to memorized the colors for the airspaces as it is on the legend of the book they give you but I did it anyway.

I bought a 5DS R last year, hated it, a pain in the arse! However, learn how to use it and the results are amazing, yes not great in low light (got a 6D for that). I grew to love my 5DS R that much I bought a 5DS with only 17k shutter count. Underated camera.

Since the building is so small in your composition, the fabulous Canon Extender EF 1.4x II fits on the TS-E 24mm lens, which will give you a 34mm shift lens; plus you get more shift without vignetting. Too bad you didn’t include this information.

What is the difference between the ND100 and ND 1000PL? What is the PL?

An ND100PL filter will reduce the amount of light that enters the lens by a factor of 100, which means that it will allow only 1/100th of the original light to pass through. This is equivalent to a 6.7-stop reduction in light. On the other hand, an ND1000PL filter will reduce the amount of light that enters the lens by a factor of 1000, which means that it will allow only 1/1000th of the original light to pass through. This is equivalent to a 10-stop reduction in light. The PL is referring to the type of filter (coating) in this case a Polarizing. So there are polarizing neutral density filters as opposed to just being neutral density

Thank you for this very helpful study guide. At 12:21, the answer for class g for drone pilots would never be 1sm. It is required to always be 3sm for drone operators. The airport may be 1sm for manned aircrafts but never for drone operators. The answer is always 3sm for drone operators. It’s a trick question.

I passed my 107 test after reading thru the materials and a few of your videos. Thanks for the info. I passed with a 77%. Not the best. I found way more questions on the sectional charts than I was expecting. It seemed like have my test was sectional charts. It beat me up, but I beat it at the end of the day

@@BillNicholsTV I’m not 100% sure. I’m finishing up my 500 YTT and just recently finished up my Divemaster. I want to work with people needing adaptive help with movement and scuba. I thought the drone footage would be an awesome advertising medium creating solution. Maybe also able to document the growth thru my plan

I have a phantom 4 RTK that I am realizing does not let me do this or any other intelligent flight features which is quite frustrating because this model is much more expensive than the pro. Am I missing something or is the point of interest mode not available on this model?

nope - this is probably more relevant now with people that are struggling financially than it ever was. There are a ton of scams out there, there are people that are looking to take advantage where they can. Having situational awareness isn't being scared at all. I have more than enough experience to get out of most situations but the best way out of a situation is to reduce the risk of putting yourself in one that requires you to act in the first place. I may legally conceal carry and still my first instinct is to reduce the chance of ever having to do something that makes me have to resolve a situation in a way I wouldn't want to.
