I commented already that this had to be one of my all-time favorite videos from Thomas because of the fun, joy, and wonderful chemistry the two of you have. You should definitely plan on more collabs with him! (I also subscribe to your channel and enjoy your content as well, but this was a great example where 1+1=3.

I actually like the image from the viewfinder before you cloned out the path haha looks like a bit of a leading line towards the second subject. I forgive and absolve you for cloning out the disgusting path you rudely stomped into the scene. However, if you use AI to put a bird into the sky, that would be unforgivable.

6:00 for all it's worth I think even with the trail it looks beautiful! a little bit of imperfection, a hint that someone walked through there, I think it adds an element of storytelling to the photo, as compared to an untouched landscape

That was a laugh-out-loud moment with the trail through the heather - however! It looked like it might have actually kind of worked as a leading line that tells a bit of a story? Would be interesting to see the image without the clone out. Entertaining and inspiring stuff as always.

Very entertaining, Simon is a good sport. Personally I wouldn't have fixed the stomping trail, but would have tried to incorporate it as a story. But maybe that's the difference between Canada and the UK...over here, it could have told the story of a wild animal...over there, it's human, or sheep.

Not a clone out fan. If you have to clone out part of an image and fill it in with AI why not just AI the whole image. I would have zoomed in past the foot trail you left or try a lower angle if possible. Fantastic images as usual in amazing conditions though . Happy video happy new year .

Hi Thomas! Thank you for a wonderfully amusing video! As for the "Trees gonna tree", the branch you discussed in the video doesn't bother me at all. It even triggers an imagination - as I can see small portions of, presumably, this branch through the needles, I start to imaging the shape of that branch. By contrast, the branch at the ground that "touches" the trunk at 90 degrees is rather annoying. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful photograph! P.S. Next time you are shooting with Simon, film more Meg :) And next time you are shooting without Simon, add more Monty)))

Laughing so hard at the 'no signal' when Simon suggested MPB sponsorship and at the end with the 'ending with the music I've been using the last three years' hahaha. This was really a fun shoot and funny, too. You and Simon made it so entertaining as well as informative. Your first shots were OK, Thomas, but I kept gritting my teeth and saying "try a couple of 9x16 compositions". And then you did. Thank you. I needed to see what that looked like. Very nice. BTW, Simon's dog was really enjoying the snow, too. We love dogs and our Jack Russel was my camp dog and photography dog for many years. I would love to have another dog, of most any kind, but my wife and I are too old to take care of one now. I'm just wondering what Phototripper is going to have to say when he sees this video.😜
