I have to say that I was not really happy with the shots in this video. Except for the last shot, that was a good one. But that might also be because I know what is coming next, haha. @@GuidoVanDeWater I live in Edmonton, Alberta about 4 hours from the beautiful Rockies Mountains. I will be heading out soon in my campervan, touring more of Western Canada (for 3 or 4 months) as I have been fortunate to do many times. I travel with my old and trusted OMD EM1 MK2, with 12-40 2.8 Pro, 40-150 2.8 Pro and 60 mm Macro (wish I had the “Big White”, but may get the 100-400 soon for longer reach). Keep up the great work…happy travels.

@alanmyles2839 you have a great set of lenses there! I've used the 100-400 for years and still have it. It will probably be out again when I have to return the 150-400 😅 but I shot many great images with that lens so no shame there. And it's light and small so it also has its advantages. You live in a stunning place. Wish I had a campervan that is so nice! Would give me oppertunitys that I don't have now. Grt guido

As soon as your video opened I looked over your shoulder and could see a half-dozen potential shots. Which of course is no testament to my skills as a photographer, but to that awesome landscape and the evening light. And it looks like you made the most of it. If the light is good, there are literally compositions everywhere. It was a shame that the beautiful light only appeared forest couple of minutes. Really enjoying the shots from this one. I always love telephoto shots when done well, probably a bit more than epic wide angles. Can totally relate to missed sunsets 😁 I think it’s just a photographer’s curse at this point 😂

Members of my photography club did Tuscany quite a number of years ago. They mostly used fullframe cameras However your MF3 shots look much better I mostly use a lumix g9 for everything now Great stuff Guido 📷 👍

I don't know if the camera makes a big deal of difference. Maybe it's just a different taste in images? Or I was lucky with conditions? Sorry, somehow, I never feel like I'm better than anyone else. Beautiful light on those rolling hills. I had a chance to try out the 150 to 400 really liked it. I can't but wonder if it's the last lens that Olympus makes, I hope not. The grey scale images were great! The villa with all the aerial perspective really nice naturally the fog helped you out again.

I thought you would like the 150-400! I dont really get what you mean with the last lens that olympus makes? They sold everything to OM system including the development and lens manufacturing. New lenses are all om system lenses. And I think the newly sold 150-400 also have om system on them. But we will never no for sure what all the plans are. Well the 90mm macro is more recent than the 150-400. So of course is the 150-600. Actually I think the 8-25 is as well? And they’ve hinted at a 50-200, I think….

@davidmantripp5312 that's right those are om branded lenses from the start and also recently the 150-600 but that is made together with sigma but still all the inside is designed again by om system.

Ciao Guido, some great shots there. If I had to choose a favourite it would be the “s-curve” bushes. I spotted that in the background while you were describing the previous shot, and I was thinking “look over there” !! And you did 😊. Did you consider using hires for any of these? Especially the last one, if you were considering cropping it?

I don't really understand what you mean by "using hires." I considered cropping the final image, but it lost a lot of the moody atmosphere. And I like how that bush in the bottom somehow was pointing up towards the rest of the image. Sort of a leading line. But thanks for watching. I appreciate it! Grt guido
