It’s so refreshing to see some different vantage points of that remarkable landscape, and captured beautifully in your images. I’m definitely looking forward to more of your exploration of Glencoe ,and the opportunities you’ll find to share its’ unique essence. Thank you for sharing these!

Thank you very much! We did have a fantastic weekend there, it's such a stunning area, although we only scratched the surface of it really. S

Thank you very much Richard! We really had such a great weekend and I really enjoyed being out with a group for change! I'm normally quite a solitary person, but I really enjoyed this trip. Hoping to have another trip with these guys again soon! S

Very nicely done, mate. Really liked that second honeypot shot with the big boulder in the foreground. Certainly features the mountain with the respect it deserves. Looking forward to the next instalment 🙂👍

Thanks David! I prefer that image to the stereotypical one. There was another really nice composition there with what would have been a perfect reflection of the mountain as well, but the surface of the water was really oily (presumably from the peat) so it didn't work. Another case though of walking a few meters away from the tripod holes and there being so many options! S

Some nice shots there Sam. I was up there in march and not only were water levels low there was also bright sunshine!! Definitely not the weather I was expecting for Glencoe.

Good to see you all out and seeing how you all approach the area with slightly different perspectives , some great images through out mate. I personally dont see what the issue is with so called honey pot locations, they are generally called that for very good reason and if you have never been and shot the image yourself i dont see an issue with that, then as you did explore further and find your own views and perspectives on the area. I did like the image you got at 6:27 doing exactly that. Great part one looking forward to seeing more from you all.

Thanks very much Lee, yes definitely, for me I guess the main enjoyment comes from trying to find something unique, but these places are popular for a reason and always worth visiting just to see the spectacle of them. We had a great weekend, looking forward to sharing the next part on the channel! S

Was this very recent? I thought maybe by now there would be more green. But you capture the mood beautifully. Ive only been once, and it was winter - a very misty day. So magical.

Thank you Sarah, yes this was only a couple of weeks ago (May bank holiday weekend)! We were having a chat when we were there about how there seems to be a very brief window of a week or two at this time of year when the colours are almost autumnal, but it's probably a bit greener there already now. S

Thank you very much Jane! I'm glad you enjoyed the music choice as well, I used to record music for our videos myself, but I haven't had time lately, so I recently switched to using stock tracks. A lot of this music is by a musician called Jakob Ahlbom. S

Hi Sam! the first thing I noticed is that you said "Down here at Glencoe.." was this just a figure of speech or just how far north were you in the first place? Because the the last time I looked, Glencoe is pretty far 'up'! 🤣
@BosePhotography
@BosePhotography 2 жыл бұрын
Haha! Glencoe's quite far south for me now Ash, I live about 2.5 hours further north now! :) S
