Very chilled, perfect title and you pulled this one from nothing, Burnmoor tarn to the rescue, loved those shots spud!

Oh ja, solitude… hard to find these days, especially in my small and overcrowded country (Netherlands). You are privileged and brave 💪 as well. Tnx for sharing…

Thanks very much. Surely there’s somewhere in between all those cyclists! 🤨

One of my favourite walks from my number one location. Done that walk from Boot a few times and that stoney zig-zagging path kills me every time whether it's going up or down it. Pity you had low cloud as the views are as good if not better than being on the Pike. I'm hoping to do a sunset from there the next time I visit, I did a sunrise a few years ago. I had the summit all to myself and sat watching a line of walkers on Scafell Pike. 😁

Yep it’s a great walk with lots of little gems. Both Eel and Stoney tarn are excellent on the return route on this one. The light had gone so no footage. Definitely one to return to. Cheers Alan 👍👍

Nice video for ones such as me stuck in 26-29C temperatures and no sign of autumn anywhere...and not a hill to be seen for at least 200 miles in any direction!

Don’t move, I’ll ring for help!😳 Cheers Dave👍👍

Lovely colours in that autumn bracken, I thought you might revert to mono for some of those shots where the shape dominates the colour. The way off Slightside is quite rocky and steep I recall, how did you find it? Thanks for the vlog.

Thanks Keith. BW is still an option. I nearly missed the rocky summit of Slightside but looked at my map just in time. I had a general idea of where I was going but it was fairly tough

@@JamesRBurnsVLOG I am currently re-reading 'My lifetime in mountains' by Harry Griffin. It is a collection of his Guardian Country Diaries with most set in the Lakes. They are really interesting.
