I think the best scene was with the Marines. A very surprising landscape shot.

Usually prefer moody monochrome landscapes, however in your first composition I'm preferring those wonderful Dartmoor colours.

Love those steps going over the stone walls. We don’t have them in the US. Very enjoyable, relaxing video

Great vid this, really makes me want to get back out on Dartmoor. Your photograph suits colour most IMHO. But I question your choice of f/13. At that focal length with an MFT sensor you will have had infinite depth of field starting a little over 2 meters away with just f/5.6. With MFT we strive to avoid going narrower than f/8 or f/9 in most circumstances to avoid diffraction. So in this scenario I think you could have shot much brighter/ faster.

Thank you very much, I'm glad it's made you want to get out to Dartmoor! Thank you also for this information about the different Aperture, I personally usually use F/13 just so everything is sharp in the foreground at background and to be able to use a slow shutter speed in brighter lighting. But I didn't know about how well F/5.6 does that too, and also with F/8 and F/9. Definitely one for me to research more on! Thank you for comment!

Great video Tom, the captured image as to be in colour not always true but the world is in colour not monochrome. Nice trip some really good captures, keep up the good work.

I thin a vertical 9x16 portrait crop of the "style" and stone fence at the 9:38 mark would work well, cropping out that black "spot" on the ground to the bottom left of the style, IMHO ;-) essentially the right half of the image crppped to remove the black spot, but keep everything on the right of it in still.. and making the style central to the whole image crop wise..

Really well narrated Video! Nice Images in spite of the dull light. In the first composition I favor the color over the monochrome version. In the second composition I would like a lower camera position better, as to reduce some of the empty space on the right. Carry on!

I too have Olympus but why do you use ISO 64 when the native is 200. I thought lower ISO was just when you needed to extend the shutter speed for long exposures?

I'll be honest, I used ISO 64 due to the flat and calm conditions therefore not needing to use a higher shutter speed especially seeing as it was on the Tripod aswell. Not only that with the grey and flat conditions there is an added risk of grain from using a High ISO. I hope that helps!
I reveal Dartmoor's hidden photographic gem, But shhh!! keep it to yourself.
