Thanks for putting in the in-studio segment- helped to show how it works better. Love the magnet idea but I will definitely stick with the 100x150 GND slide - better flexibility for positioning when going ultra-wide like 15mm. Maybe they will have a magnetic slide holder to use a slide we already have - not having to re-purchase stuff makes it easier to buy it.

Great images as always. I have lots of threaded filters so ideally I would like adapters and step rings to be able to use my existing filters onto a magnetic adapter on my lenses.

Nice ND filter system.. I shall do some more homework on them for my Zeiss distagon 15mm lens . At the moment I am using the Lee square system which is 150mm and really ridiculously large to carry around and far too expensive for what it is .. so time to change my system . I'm using the kase wolverine round magnet system for years and love to work with it since yet. In 82mm it fits all of my lenses, I can use 3 filters in combination without vignetting and the pouch ist really small in comparison to my old 100mm square system. Never use gnd.

@@Alexframesrj I think, the Filter should have 95mm Diameter, when your Lens biggest Lens has 82mm. My biggest Lens is 77mm, that works fine with 3 filters without vignetting.

Beautiful location it sure is worth going there again once fall colors start, excellent presentation on how to use filters. I think they are perfect compact enough to be taken anywhere on location. I just find them a little pricey imo. Thank you Atillio for sharing it with us.

Atillio, is there any way you can comment, or even make a video highlighting the advantages and disadvantages you have experienced in using the Armour system vs. the circular wolverine? I'm very torn on which system to invest in at this point. The square armour system seems to be more flexible, but I am also moving away from using grads, which would seem to negate a big reason to go with the square system. Anyhow, I would love to hear your take on contrasting the two systems.

Attilio, interessantissimo video! Si tratta del Master Kit IV? Non mi è ben chiaro quale diametro abbiano i vari filtri. Io partirei da una lente con diametro 82 mm e per usare una GND immagino che tutto il sistema debba avere un diametro di almeno 95 mm per poter essere spostare la GND su e giù senza che compaia il suo anello all'interno dell'inquadratura! Puoi per favore chiarirmi questo aspetto. Se faccio a meno del GND chiaramente basterebbe tutto a 82 mm, ma con il GND va aumentato?

Not a fan of GND filters. Workflow is destructive IMO. Photo at 3:53 shows the top of the trees on the left, middle and top part of the rock/cliff gets too dark due to the graduated filter which may be difficult to correct in post. If the camera is on a tripod, taking two photos, one exposing for the highlights in the sky and one exposing for shadows on the rock at bottom right and blending the two together would provide an overall more balanced exposure? I've seen a lot of landscape photographers do this rather than using GND filters. I'd be interested in your opinion.
