Landscape Quick Study

Here’s a nice little landscape that began as just a quick study of an interesting tree. And ended up as one of those times when I get a “keeper” in the process.

Hi Tom. This is great! I'm a new painter (about 2 years) and I do little landscape and tree paintings all the time. I like the simple scenes, and I think it is also a great exercise in working on hue, value, atomos perspective, brushstrokes, etc. I really like the look of your other work as well, so I'm glad I found this channel.
