Paul - as we discussed, some folk may not realise all the work that goes into a reasonably short length video like this. It is actually a lot of work. So I think moreover we really appreciate for all us that you are 'back on the horse', so to speak.

Thanks Phillip. I'm often ask how much time, but it's hard to quantify. But I wouldn't get much change out of 30 hrs. Take care and thanks for your support!

I really love that your shadow is more solid and permanent than the truck in the black and white photo. What a great piece of symbolism.

The dude in the truck didn’t even move in the slightest. Stay safe Paul! I often shoot from roads and it’s always a high risk. Love your videos and the peaceful message they have.

Another great one Paul, loved the music and the whole feel of the episode, thank you. It's the colour mountain print for me but I love the idea of having an image in your mind and going after it. Just as an aside comment if I may - I might be wrong but I think you mentioned on your first 'return video' something about the challenge and pressure of regularly making 'content' and how it was not always great experience. I can't speak for all your subscribers obviously, but I reckon most of us would be very happy if you only did something once a month or whenever you felt the urge to make something new. It's all about quality not quantity in your case Paul 🙂

Another fine episode Paul, cracking selection of shots, personally the mono at 6:34 is my pick. I've shot Pohataroa numerous times, always a draw card no matter the weather, a real landmark.

So glad you are back, well and safe Paul, as we all are. Your drone footage is so nice and gentle. Your music choice just has so much meaning with you imagery that you are sharing. Your "Santie Cronje" inspiration is definitely winner mate. Maybe more refining? So happy for you

Lovely shots. Remarkable how the same landscape reflects my next door strath, which I was shooting in yesterday. Volcanic plug in the middle, hills either side. No wonder the area we live in (probably on the back of the Peter Jackson movies) is called The Shire.

I love the process and the results. Your roadside near death experieces reminded me that Nick Carver will sometimes wear a reflector vest, hard hat and use an orange traffic cone to hopefully generate some added safety and conversely stealth as utility workman are more "normal" than photographers. I also like the shadow selfie although in my case he shows up more often inadvertently than as an artistic choice!

Great images as always Paul , love the title of your photo of Pohataroa , Close Encounter , I’m assuming you mean the close encounter with the truck but the rock does bare a resemblance to the Devils Tower rock featured in Close Encounters of the third kind .

Outstanding as usual Paul. While I'm a sucker for a monotone print the colors in the shot at 5:46 are excellent, it's got that end of a summer day warmth to it.

@@PaulCSmithPhotographer I spotted that on the second watch! which is what i always do on premieres, my only comment would be is I think the best photo of that subject is still out there, both the images the mountain was quite small! It's not a criticism more of a challenge, thanks for sharing
