This song, among three others, is one of the only things I have been listening to for the last three days and will continue to be the only things I listen to until April. This song is an amazing piece and the smooth jump from Eb to Bb in measure 29 for clarinets blows my mind. I play the clarinet and my jumps sounds nowhere near as graceful or smooth.

Is it just me, or do some parts of the piece sound like parts from the musical "Wicked"?

Yeah i can hear it, along with Jurassic Park. It sounds like a fantastic concert opener.

My form of Norm playing this as a freshmen 1st tpt part in my school band. We’re one of the best concert bands in the state of Texas and we had 3 weeks to prepare for it. We got honors band out of 100’s of bands. I was so proud. Then I heard what I believe to be your recording and it was AMAZING. Good job!!!!

We played this in our college wind symphony despite missing a saxophone section, it was still pretty great 😎
