I was thinking between 6 and 7 grand to demo the trailer. But I don't know. I'm a carpenter contractor from PA, but have no employees. If I did it I would probably cut it up with a sawzall into 3' sections and throw them in the dumpsters. Set it up with a local scrapper, to come pick up the metal for free and on time. Would probably take me like 4 days to get it the ground looking good. That would be a home run job for me. But you run an entirely different operation, with much overhead, but very fast. Thanks for sharing. I love the videos.

I pulled one salter over the weekend and brought equipment back to the shop. No sense leaving it on site now. I'm ready to put this shit away, tired of looking at snowplows and salt spreaders. I got salt to store all summer now. I thought in January that winter was going to stick around so I panicked and ordered more salt. You know how that worked out. I'm sure glad I didn't by anymore snow equipment than I did last Fall.

We are probably going to leave one or two trucks up in case of emergency. And yes, we have a ton of salt left over too. Relying on Mother Nature can suck sometimes. Thanks for watching!
@stevesmith7758 ай бұрын
Can you store salt long term? I know when I have a small bag of salt at the house it turns into concrete by the next year lol
@mikedirks58898 ай бұрын
@@stevesmith775 Yes, we cover it with a few tarps too. You get a crust layer on top but we break it up with the skid loader. I've had bags get hard like that too. Big piles of bulk will get hard too, if enough moisture get to it.

Are year long contracts for commercial/industrial not common in your service area? As far as snow accounts here in PA everyone has at least a mix of contracts and per push. I’m just surprised you don’t have mostly year long contracts to get you through a minimal snow winter. We get paid no matter what here, enough to keep bills paid at least. Love the videos man! Been watching since day one.
@pagelservices8 ай бұрын
We push year long contracts but it is hard to land. We have a couple that do it. Thanks for watching!

He do you pay your salesmen? Getting ready to bring on my first one and trying to figure out how to pay them. I’m a GC that does remodel and renovation work of ALL sorts. Trailer demo in southeastern NC run from $3-10k. Just depends how far the dump and what the dump fees are. I think $5k is fair. Dumpsters run about $6-800, that included the dump fees.

when dump trailer batteries are low they push air instead of fluid. So the fluid pours out the pump. at least thats how i understand it. Id say 4500.00 for demo job
