Are there any special instructions to replace batteries? Do I simply take out the old batteries and put in the new ones? I don't suppose that we would need to hold the reset while doing so.

So far I have not had to replace batteries but I should think no reset is required.

What happens if the door is not fully closed and the deadbolt while trying to lock hits the door frame?

It has a sensor that pulls the lock back. It will try twice more and then stay unlocked.

Can I delete a finger print without scanning the person finger?

Same question. One how-to I saw indicated the fingerprint is required to remove it which is terrible. I assume you'd have to reset it and re-enter the ones you want to keep if the other video I saw is accurate.

For some reason when it goes to lock the deadbolt doesn’t lock the door and the deadbolt tries to lock but it doesn’t fully go into the door frame

I tried to put my fingerprints so many times that I cannot remember how many. I also tried with different fingers and nothing works. My boyfriend did the same and it's working for him.
