This is absolutely the most detailed video I’ve ever seen in my life. I would not have been able to do this without your help. I almost broke it following the paper instructions that had some weird instructions to use a screw driver to take apart the deadbolt, I started doing that while saying to myself “this can’t be right… let’s go to KZbin” … Thank you!

(This IS Important )12 minutes in the video you have to let the door know whether it's a right hand throw or a left hand throw. Put three batteries in / take your reset key or pin hold it down and put the 4th battery in. It does it automatically. Once it locks you're good to go now start your programming.

@@doyouluvit If you're sure it's not the batteries, then I would try to reset the lock to the factory settings. There's a small reset button under the batteries. You'll need a small paper clip to depress the button for five to ten seconds and then re-program the lock.

Good video, wish I would have found it before I installed mine. I got everything installed but I was playing with the lock and put batteries in before I installed it, so that screwed it up a little. But I installed 2 of them and they work great,

I see how the lock works but how do you actually open and close the door since there’s no handle?

The lock replaces your traditional deadbolt. You still have the existing door knob that you use to open and close the door. I hope this helps and thanks for watching!

I have a thin door, probably half an inch thinner than normal doors. Do you think I will be able to install it on one of those type of doors?

Yes, there is a reset button inside the battery compartment.

How has it held up....?

Great so far. I installed two locks, one at my main house and the other in my tiny house. The main house lock gets daily use by my entire family with no issues. I did have to change out the batteries after a year but that was expected due to the high usage. The other lock on my tiny house doesn't get as much usage so the batteries have lasted over a year. I will say when it rains and your hands are wet, using the biometric/thumbprint entry will not work sometimes and we have to use our individual codes but other than that they have worked fine. When we press the reset button with the door unlocked and open the deadbolt comes out but then it goes back in and gives us several beeps instead of one long beep. Then when we try to lock the door from the outside it attempts to lock our door in the wrong direction. We have reinstalled 2x following directions to the T. So lost now. Maybe we just got a dud?

Don't these batteries drain very fast? How often do you have to change the batteries? I find batteries drain awfully fast.

I use lithium AA batteries an they normally last a couple of years. Standard AA batteries will only last about six months depending on usage.

For some reason when it goes to lock the deadbolt doesn’t lock the door and the deadbolt tries to lock but it doesn’t fully go into the door frame

Sounds like the deadbolt isn't lined up with the door frame. You might see if you can adjust the striker plate on the door frame unit the deadbolt is properly aligned. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.

Hey Tim, You have to reset the factory code before it will allow you to input new codes. Try pressing the TEEHO logo button twice and then the factory code 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and then the TEEHO button again wait for the green light then press number 1 and the TEEHO button again then put in your new MASTER code and press the TEEHO button again and then you will need to put in your new MASTER code again to confirm press the logo button and now you have a new master code. From here you can press the logo button and the number two and start programming your new individual codes and fingerprints. Hope the helps and thanks for watching.
