@@charl2182 I think Tomodachi Life adopts a mii's information into it's own data once the traveler mii is in town, otherwise, the game still stores somewhere else all the relevant mii info like island, name, favorite color and possibly even their preferred foods! I believe the Photo Realistic room is simply some realistic skybox Nintendo has stored for tech demos and stuff! Probably just some place in japan, but I'm not really your guy for that!

I imagine this data is saved after the baby is revealed and you complete the conversation with the parents. I promise I'm not making this up. I was furious at my younger brother lol. The child I ended up with eventually traveled to another island, and I haven't seen her since.

the apartments thing is unconnected, one of my oldest couples in the game frequently sleep apart, but their relationship is at the highest level for both. the game decides randomly when the Miis sleep, so it just sometimes rolls for them to sleep in the apartment instead of at home.

nope, this is always been the case in non-asian copies (i say that because south korea has the game, but i never played that one) and this affects EVERY friendship AND romance rating song (yes, there’s 10 per each rating.) so every time you use the compatibility test (which by the way doesn’t just do nothing, i mean, it contributes to the friendship and romance rankings.), it will always play a compatibility song regardless if the pairing is a friendship one or a romance one. hell, adult or child relationships don’t even exist in the original japanese release, so you can hook up a 13 y/o girl with a 40-ish y/o guy in it. in other releases, since the girl’s not in the same group, it cannot be a romantic relationship.

2 of my miis had a baby some years ago. I got the gender, name, looks, everything. But then, out of nowhere, the game crashed. I restarted, having to do the baby th in ng all over again and expecting the same stuff, but this time, it was a different baby. What was once a boy became a girl, and everything changed from there. Kinda weird. The mii just took one look at me and said "hell nah get me out of here!" And deleted himself. ...at least, that's what I thought. Some years later(I took a long break), those same parents had another child. I didn't notice at first, but after the child grew up, I looked back through the baby photos and found out that this baby was the same baby that deleted itself! The name, looks, everything was exactly the same. This game is nutty. Sorry for the long rant, I just find this story so crazy.

@@Mama-Luigi I just had a shortish dream about the game last night, where you could pay someone to decide what happens to your child when it grows up (??) but the one I truly remember is my brothers mii getting incredibly depressed and I think his whole apartment turned gray and I couldn’t play as him anymore, that one was a few years ago, but it put me through a lot of distress since it wasn’t just someone random it was my brother who was actually struggling with depression. I belive it's not possible since the 3DS won't boot without essential files, such as the wii maker information. Emulators can circumvent that because they don't rely on the bios, but the developers probably created a failsafe, in case the console failed momentarily leading to the game trying to retrieve information it can't find.

idk why but im just gonna write my own version of the adeline creepypasta or smth because idk where eles to put it (also yea obviliously this didnt happen) A few years ago, i got the game Tomodachi Life for my 3DS. I hadn’t touched said 3DS in quite a long time, and i had watched various famous longplays of the game (Vinesauce’s gameplay, Saltydkdan’s video on TL, Poofesure’s gameplay) and yea… i wanted it. However, something was obvilously wrong with my copy, as you shall see later. I obvilously created an island, added a bunch of miis, and watched whatever activity on the island unfold. As some of the miis i added were really weird or hilarious, there were a bunch of crackships, but there was one relationship that actually made sense, and was between two actually normal miis. Eventually, they got married, the first on the island to do so, and after that i progressed onto the game as usual. However, i never wanted to make the miis have any children on the island, well because they’re annoying and whatnot and why would i want to raise one in a video game? But after a bit of thinking, i decided that i should, just to let the game get more interesting. Yeah… don’t think i should’ve done that. By this point i had done some well enough progress on the island, had like 40 islanders and everything was going pretty smoothly. A day after reenabling the option to have kids, i finally saw it, a heart bubble icon in a mii’s window. This mii was in said marriage that had happened earlier, and now… “I’ve been thinking about having a child with [Mii].” This was the line that i had been waiting for, and i answered yes, you should. Now i only had to wait a while, maybe about a few days at most. I was excited to what it would be like to have a kid on the island, what it would look like, how it would be raised, and eventually i’d make the mii part of the apartments instead of sending it out to oblivion because nobody in my area used StreetPass except me. Then, finally, one morning, i booted up the game to see a phone call, and it was from the couple who were going to have a baby. Except, something seemed off. “[Lookalike], we need to talk.” Oh s**t. I might be cooked. Upon automatically entering the home they were in, something was definetley wrong. The two miis did not look happy at all. Rather, they looked well, sad, like if i’d given them food they didn’t like, or if they had just been rejected or whatever. And then i noticed that none of them were holding a baby. And last of all, the BGM was, you guessed it… Adeline. And then, the inevitable happened “The baby isn’t moving.” “How did this happen? How did we mess this up?” “I don’t know if we can try again. I’m so sorry, [Lookalike]. I’m so sorry.” … No no no no no no no. This isn’t happening. Yep, they had a miscarriage. I still don’t know how this even happened, was this some sort of freak joke made by some developer that only made it onto this cartridge? I was essentially traumatized. Upon looking in further, both miis had max sadness, and the usual sad music was playing when i was in their apartments. I had also noticed that the relationship status of both miis had stagnated very heavily, from “One in a million” to “Unhappy” (and yes, this was the EU version of the game). God, i still don’t know how this happened, but i suddenly felt like the game wasn’t very fun anymore… at all… Later on in the day, i noticed that one of the miis in the relationship (the wife) had their sadness suddenly vanish, as they had a friendship bubble icon in their apartment. I tapped on her apartment and clicked on the problem bubble. “I want to break up with [husband mii].” God, at this point i felt genuinley sick, so i just tapped “you should”, and they broke up. Only problem is now that i couldn’t… decrease their sadness meter. It was stuck. I went back on the game a few days later and they were STILL sad. By now i was genuinley convinced that i had to use drastic measures, so… i deleted the miis. By that point i had officially decided that the only way to completely fix this whole problem was to just try and forget it all happened and play the game as usual. But i felt tired, uneasy about the game. Who knows what else might go wrong? I barely did anything on my island and the whole place felt depressing. I thought this was just a fun game that got streamed online and everybody enjoyed, a timeless game that would stay popular until Nintendo eventually completely killed off the 3DS system entirely. I just wanted to enjoy myself, but things took a turn for not just the worse, but the WORST. The next day, i went back onto my 3DS to play the game again. I officially decided that i would start on a clean slate, either heavily improving my island and wiping its past, or to just erase my save file and start all over again. But, this happened: “Save data is corrupted and must be deleted.” So it just did the latter option for me. By that point i was tired of my island anyways. I was also half convinced that my save had corrupted because of the whole miscarriage thing too. Things didn’t make sense and i was so confused to why this was let in the game, a game for KIDS, a game that PEGI had rated 3, i just couldn’t. By then i didn’t want to start up a new island. I’d lost interest in the game. I took the cartridge out of my 3DS and put it somewhere where it would be lost on purpose. I also stopped touching my 3DS, simply because there was no point in me playing. By then, that was the most that i could do. A few years have passed since then and i have picked up the game again. I bought a new cartridge and a new 3DS, just as a precaution, and began playing the game like normally. I’ve gotten pretty far on my save, 3 married couples already. Everything is going right and one of my miis also wants to have a child too. I’m sure that this time, nothing can go wrong, right…?

OKAY, OKAY, LISTEN UP. (Or not if you don't want to ;v;) The reason why I clicked on this video was because of a dream I had years ago, back when I was super obsessed with Tomodachi life. Quick warning though, this comment is LONG. Here we go: In my main mii's apartment, a secret option was found within it. I ended up somehow switching it to another room within the same room my Mii stayed, to find that an elderly-looking mii was sitting by himself within that room. Not doing anything in particular, just sipping tea (or it might have been coffee) and minding his own business. Suddenly the game says: "What? Who is this?" "They're not supposed to be here!" "Better delete him so he doesn't cause any trouble." "Deleting..." However, instead of the Mii and the room disappearing, his head just lays on his desk, as if he were unconscious or dead. However, that's when the real nightmare happened. You know those little symbols seen through the windows that show what kind of problem a Mii has? Well, that's what I saw, but the symbol was a red square, which doesn't exist in the game. I clicked it, and the Mii (Let's call them Mii A) has Red Squares for pupils in their eyes. They noted that they felt different, but didn't show too much concern. Eventually, Mii A goes to another Mii's apartment. (Mii B) Strangely enough, the Red Squares moves from Mii A's eyes to Mii B's eyes while they are both staring at the camera together. Suddenly Mii A is normal again and Mii B now has the affect. Mii B asks Mii A: "Do you want to play with me?" Mii A, seemingly frightened of Mii B, replies: "Uh, s-sure." Soon enough, It's a minigame, just like it was another mii that wanted to play, but this minigame was new. Not to mention it was CRUEL. You had to throw darts at one of those dart boards, but this time the Mii was right in the middle of the Dart Board. Mii A went first. To win, you had to play as Mii A and purposefully miss Mii B so that they wouldn't get hurt. (It was still your mii, after all.) Mii B will thank you for this. However, Mii B will NOT be as kind. When Mii B's turn comes up, you have to still play as Mii A, making sure they didn't get hurt from the darts that Mii B was throwing. Finally the Minigame ended, and you were simply booted from the room as Mii A goes back to theirs. I couldn't find out more because the dream ended soon after, but I do remember that I saw more symbols of the red squares. (I'm assuming that Mii B wants to "play" with more Mii's, but perhaps the red square would just be passed again?) Then the game says: "Something's wrong." "I don't think I should have deleted that old man." "Sophia, I need your help to fix this!" (Sophia is my name fyi, the game was addressing me.) Why is this dream related to the video? Well, the most notable thing about this dream was about the effect of that red square, and what does Adeline's head look like? A red square. *END SPECULATION:* If this dream was about Adeline, she seems to have a connection to the old man that I found in the secret room. When the Old Man was deleted, Adeline either got super pissed or the deletion somehow "released" her. (Like, perhaps the Old Man was stopping Adeline from spreading those Red Squares?) Either way, this whole mess seemed to have started with deleting the old man. (Which was 100% the GAME'S fault because I had no say in the deletion.) Also the whole time, the island isn't nice and sunny, it's covered with clouds and everything is gloomy. It would also seem like the Red Squares like to change host, like how they hopped from Mii A to Mii B. It seemed like the way to fix this was to stop Mii's from getting hurt while trying to figure out how to bring the old man back. After all, it didn't really look like he was deleted. He left a body behind when he was supposed to just disappear entirely. Sorry, I was just supposed to tell you about my dream, but I couldn't help it and threw it into a story format... Hope you enjoyed it, at least?
