Why choose the Landyachtz Chief? It’s an amazing small pintail longboard designed for cruising and carving in the city and on the boardwalk. It is highly responsive and fast-turning, with a high-quality flexy deck - particularly the bamboo version. The slight rocker and concave make it very snappy and comfortable. The Grizzly trucks are great for carving and pumping, and the Fatty Hawg wheels are super smooth rolling even rougher roads.

I might buy this board, do you think its fine for just cruising around the city and maybe trying to learn a few pintail tricks?

Hey, yeah I have a few boards including a Loaded but the Chief is really my top board for easy cruising, it's soooo smooth and quiet once the bearings are broken in, it rides super low for a topmount due to the awesome flex, so easy and fun to push on. You can also pump and carve those Grizzly trucks like crazy as you can see in the video. I always take this board for chill cruising at the beach and such. You can definitely learn a few tricks like manuals etc. I have the Bamboo Fish, love the turquoise color although it's easy to chip the paint. It seems it's no longer available on Amazon but you can probably get it elsewhere. Or you can get the Bamboo Eyes amzn.to/2UQe1FT which looks pretty cool as well.

@@RidingBoards thanks for the tip, I think Ill go with the Maple Ripper Tropic Nights because it has a nice small kicktail, have fun ;D

@@dystopia2386 thanks for the good words. Yes I pump this board all the time, it's really nice for that. Great springy flex, I pump on it for a few miles on bike trails and sidewalks each time, great momentum. It has a lot more flex than my Loaded boards, so better for LDP. My Loaded are awesome for surf carving.
