Tuba section at Lane is nice. They play very well together. TSU is definitely louder but Lane’s has some interesting arrangements for their tuba. With 8 people it is hard to hide.

TSU tuba instructor is now at lane and he was the instructor for TSU tubas until July. It's the same tubas from last season plus 11 freshmen.

Lane has a lot of potential they just need to build the size but Lane play with something to prove which can mean good and bad things. TSU is literally dominating every single week they always have a hit every fifth quarter and the 2nd and 4th song they played was the hits this time🔥. Both did great tho keep grinding💪🏾

Lane is a decent band with strong Tubas, Euphos, and percussion but outside of those the rest of the band is a non factor. Lots of upper brass tuning issues…I’ve heard better editions of the AOB but they are definitely a different class altogether … respect to both programs.

Omg.. I've seen tsu have bad years, but this right here is trash. They officially suck right now! They completely tore that Sade song up and I used to like the other version they played years before. I don't know what it is, but something has changed. I know they got this album and everything going on, but this here won't cut it. Lack of song selection and lack of energy playing is exposing yall. Them kids play held back and uninterested. Kudos to the drum section and majorettes.. They the only ones who look like they care.
