Yes: We always do, otherwise you still have the restriction of the hole closing up into the barrel. It can be a bit of a pain to do if the rear of the barrel (Breach) is multi-part i.e. two - three brass pieces with an O-ring insert. You have to remove the O-ring and be careful and de-burr well. If it is a solid steel barrel at the breach, we some times cas some molten lead into the back 1" 20mm of the barrel and drill through into that to stop burring.

Yes sir you have to make sure you have the right drill bits Sharp and start small and gradually go larger with your drill bits I just got done doing my flashpup a couple days ago use a drill press I did a real slick job y'all have a good shooting day bang bang bang

how many milimeter diameter of transfer port needed to carry 16 gr pellet at 1300 fps. is this possible?

it's a waste of time accuracy goes with lighter pellets after 900 fps. power is no use without accuracy.
