@@michellenainkristinabusch1221 well the myth is that white feet are softer than black or dark colored feet and don't hold up as well without shoes and soon as you put shoes on a horse they start having leg trouble they weren't designed to wear shoes.... they don't come out of the womb with shoes on....that's a white man thing, he doesn't know a damn thing about horses feet or he wouldn't be putting shoes on them in those yearling sales when their feet are still growing for Christ's sake and them white eyes....evidently you've never been on a white-eyed horse they're kind of spooky they get spooked of all kinds of things them appalooses all have white eyes most of them and they're a bit spooky to ride, you've got to ride them to death so they don't spook from everything! War of Will is a fine example of that.... Although our woman Steward was too stupid to see that and he did the same thing in the Breeders Cup only they had to put Mongolian Groom down from it but nobody said nothing, of course, but if you will notice that after that Casse put blinkers on War of Will.... if he was such a Hall of Fame trainer how come he didn't have blinkers on him in the Kentucky Derby for Christ's sake so there's your myths dear....

@@michellenainkristinabusch1221 PS white feet work better on grass than they do in dirt and the Standardbred people are more knowledgeable footwise than the Thoroughbred people you notice there's no white feet with Standardbreds and some of them race with no shoes I've even seen two horses win the Kentucky Sire Stakes at the Red Mile with no shoes but let's see if one of these Thoroughbred trainers could do that! In my 27 years with Gainesway sales I've only seen two guys pick up their feet and look at them at the yearling sales that's how knowledgeable they are.....

@@meganproffitt424 exactly - thoroughbreds have a certain angle from neck to rear that breeders look for and want... a good eye can pick it up right away. SWAY BACKS ARE mules.

@@bishlap SWAY BACKS are not mules. Shame on you. It's a genetic trait that can happen to any breed-mainly the Standardbred. Many broodmares get swayed also as they age. Never in my life have I seen a sway back mule.
