ALSO, sorry for multiple comments, but SKII came up with a cream skin toner years before Laneige. It was called SKII Cellumination Mask in Lotion. I used it circa 2012 and it remember it was very similar to Laneige's cream skin. But everyone forgot about that particular SKII's product though lol

Thank you Ulrike. The original Laneige was good for my mature, sensitive, dry skin. However, the Dr. Ceuracle is far superior but too expensive. My staple toner is Mary & May's Vegan Blackberry Complex Cream Essence; lovely texture, moisturizing and hydrating at a lower price.

The old version felt pretty heavy on my skin. It was a pretty unique product for sure, but it wasn't the easiest to layer with other products on my combo dehydrated skin. I hope the new formula will feel less heavy, but hopefully still moisturizing 🤞

Love your style and how straight to the point you are! Have you tried the Isntree Yam Root Vegan Milk Toner? This one has been compared to the OG Laneige Cream Skin Refiner and it comes at a lower price point. I find the new Laneige toner too light for my dry skin and I’ve been enjoying the Yam Root one.

The new Laneige Cream Skin is so basic to me😢😢 I've been using Kbeauty for more than a decade and I'm always flabbergasted at how they tend to sabotage or discountinue their most iconic products. Laneige, the Whoo, Sum37, It's Skin....all of them had GEMS they destroyed for NO reason! And I agree Sulwhasoo's rebranding is terrible. And I don't even wanna mention the twenty something idol with fried hair being their "model"😬😬😬😬😬😬

I also didn’t try the original formulation. I opted to purchase the mister and no leaking. I agree softens skin, but deep/lasting hydration nope. I also started getting little white head pimples because when I first received it, I used it often. I wanted to see if it really hydrate my skin, especially later in the day when my morning skincare just wasn’t lasting. It looked and felt like it sat on my skin, couple hours later mist again…same thing. Just sits vs refreshen or hydrate.

I am mad about the change , I am not good with change and when they change favorites. I have a whole big bottle of the OG one for winter and a new bottle of the Dr C kombucha essence ready to go . Ur package isn't the only one that leaks Kelly Dirscols leaks and a few other people I have seen theirs does too. Idk about this package big bulky leaking mess that is supose to be environment friendly but yet they use 10 tons of packaging for the darn over sized lid.

The new one and old one doesn't have anything changed. It's more deceiving means feeling lite when applied then boom original creme skin is back. It gave me close comedones by getting deceived and apllied 2 layers . Don't get decieved it's same as it was. Use the same quantity.. Even less will do work. It's just deceiving

Hi, no disrespect but: the formula of this new version is definitely not the same as the original Cream Skin. You can compare the ingredient lists (or check out any of the other reviewers here on KZbin who talk about the changes e.g. Kelly Driscoll or Soo Beauty). I have heard a few people talking about getting whiteheads/closed comedones from this updated version, so you're not alone with that reaction for sure!

@@UlrikeScherer I said how it feels on skin With 2 layers. It felt the same. Lite first you use spray, second spray it's already oily. Also I always had issue with ceramide peptide serums like purito. Only ceramide complex it was fine; I used ceramide complex moisturizers, with old version of laneige so I know. And I hadn't used that with new. Completely on bare skin 2 coat spray on 3 quarters of face

Update:- close comedones went away after continous use . It's just my skin reaction to ceramide peptide like always. Now it's fine and saying it thrice it's same as older version I feel in my skin. After some usage. Same feeling with less product. I used more than a pump. Its again my fault. It's very very deceiving. New creme skin will last you more than previous. A little drop needed if not skin become extra oily for oily skin and clog pores. I am accepting the fct that I need an another hydrating toner . Like I had earlier

@@LavenderCross75 yes very fine. Refreshing if applied as first layer. But thickness oily like original if 2-3 layer applied
