This vlog is about the construction of a Kenyan city road called the Ngong Road-Lang’ata link road in Africa ,Kenya , Nairobi,the road has opened up Nairobi City and easen the traffic ,imagine going to NGONG' road from LANG'ATA road in 5 minutes ?
It now takes less than five minutes for one to drive from Lang’ata Road to Ngong road at Prestige Plaza through the link road .
Previously, motorists had to use Mbagathi road or Langata road via Nyayo/ Mbagathi roundabout which they ended up being caught in traffic. And wasting alot of time
The road is dubbed Ngong Road-Kibera-Kung’u Karumba-Lang’ata KIBRA NGONG' link road and cuts across Kibera slum the biggest slum in east and central Africa
The construction of the main dual carriageway, underpasses and overpasses are complete.
A spot check reveals and shows that LANG'ATA ,KIBRA NGONG' service road has bus bays, pedestrian bridges, and footpaths as well flood lights and this makes it very user friendly and modern road within Nairobi City
This road is a key enabler of economic growth in Nairobi Kenya and have productive interlinkages with other socio-economic activities such as industrial, services, agricultural, commercial, social institutions and households
Motorist who lives in Langata doesn’t need to use a long route to access Lavington, kileleshwa and Kilimanii estates.
the new road has helped cut down on fuel costs, travel time and no worries about wasting time in heavy traffic as witnessed in the past years
