Great video, thanks. Very helpful to see how the process works for getting a slide cut. Good work.

I'm glad it was helpful! It was a bit of an intimidating process to me but really wasn't that bad all said and done. Thanks for watching and commenting!

They just received mine today, hope the turnaround goes like yours. I’m also doing trigger work. Let’s see how turns out 🤘🏻

I have a Langdon Tactical Beretta 92G that is cut for an optic and I love it.

The Langdon optic system for the 92 is the best out there!

That is so cool dude. How is the reset with the gray guns trigger?

I have the gray guns trigger and short reset kit and the trigger is really good. Very short reset.

@@EngineersArmory i have one on my langdon p30 but its in lem. I suspect the da/sa version is slightly better
@EngineersArmory2 ай бұрын
@@goobasippay938 hard to say. The SA of the V3 is really similar to light LEM. I have an HK45 LEM. Got it after my P30. Wish the p30 was LEM now.

Are you still planning on porting this P30? Really interested to see the performance before and after.

Naw I've decided against it. Love how it's currently set up. Doesnt need anything else for my purposes.

@ I kinda understand. The real HK’s feel kinda perfect as is. It almost feels wrong to cut into them 😂 Maybe you can find a cheap VP9 to experiment with

I know this is the internet and all, so take this for what it's worth, or don't listen at all... but I sent my LTT P30 to Rick Holm at Lazy Wolf for his MRAP trigger job and nothing short of game-changing.
@EngineersArmory6 ай бұрын
Thanks for sharing your experience. I've heard really good things about Lazy Wolf! I did my own trigger job on this and I'm happy with it. I'm sure it's not as good as what lazy wolf would do.

hows the coating holding up?
@EngineersArmory16 күн бұрын
Just fine. Worn off the slide rail area but that's to be expected. I really only use this pistol for range use currently so the slide wont see much wear. It would wear like cerakote does from a holster or whatever.

Just need to know where the magwell came from. Please sir!

@@EngineersArmory apologies, did not have time to correct this. You mention this at the end of the video. Have you shot competitively with this(uspsa, idpa)?
@EngineersArmory4 ай бұрын
@@jaholland42 no I have not. I dont compete. Dont know how the magwell would comply or not to their regulations.
@jaholland424 ай бұрын
@@EngineersArmory always suggest getting out there if you can to the HK brothers. no one buys them to compete, but its at least a fun time. And it is fruitful. In USPSA you would be in Limitied Optics with this setup. And if you remove the magwell and light you could shoot in carry optics.

I can’t believe you don’t show the underside side of the slide. The most important part about milling on p30 p30 sk is the hollow portion of the slide. My p30 sk was milled locally for a delta point. The delta point acts as the plate in order to retain the spring . So it is now part of the pistol and never coming off. Well, as long as the loctite holds up.
@EngineersArmory9 ай бұрын
I considered this and that was part of the reason I went with LTT. The optic plate retains the FPSB spring.

That didnt look very snuggly
@EngineersArmory3 ай бұрын
If you're referring to the fit of the holosun optics in the plate, re-watch starting at 3:24. I tried to show that the holosun optics are a little loose in the footprint. However an RMR fits snug which is the optic the plate is specifically sized for. The holosun optic body sizes differ slightly from the RMR although they use the same footprint. Hope that makes sense.
