Incredible!!! I bet there hasn't been many to witness an atmosphere like there was at the Reebok that night! A crowd absolutly baying for blood, having been aggravated by the referee for a good 93 minutes. Being 2-1 down, and having 9 men against 10. The cross in from the right. Ricketts header into the back of the net..... Cue bedlam!!!

Yeah i was there at the ground. Amazing scenes! Savage is a grub - typical of players who try to make up for their lack of skill by winding up other players and manipulating the referee.

the thing with Savage was..he did an awful tackle (way worse than Warhursts) on Hendry that didn't even get booked. Ref was awful. Was buzzing like fuck after game

...Holdsworth red - Can't see clearly, but the players reactions seem to suggest a bad tackle, can't make the call though. Izzet red - I'm probably going to come off as biased here, but it's clearly a case of mistaken identity, Davidson made the challenge (I'd have given yellow card btw, which is what Izzet mistakenly received). Great comeback by Bolton though, and I didn't expect a win against a team we can't beat away, with a City side mid-self destruct. Looked like an exciting game.

I'm a City fan, but let me call this as impartially as I can as I don't see why you're giving the ref this much stick (I also don't know if you have previous with Mr. Riley, although I personally never rated him.) Ricketts booking - Contact, didn't play the ball. Correct decision. Warhurst red - High tackle, contact, studs out, didn't play the ball. Dangerous play, correct decision (cont'd)
