Thanks John for another wonderful HD quality movie of another shipwreck! Thanks for making these available to us all. Stunning and gives one an idea of the construction too. Thanks Again, I could only wish to be able to do what you do.

Nice video, John. I haven't been to this wreck in ten years and now that I stumbled across your video I would like to again. Charters don't seem to fly as often as they used to though... Nice video!

It’s so nice to be able to see the wreck and amazes me how well preserved they are compared to wrecks in salt water. I dove the GB Church many years ago, soon after it was sunk as a reef, then several more times in a 3 year span. Coral and sea life take over very quickly.and the wrecks look very different in a short period of time. Thanks for these videos, they are great quality and well done 👍

I'm fascinated by water wreck 's ! Florida and Lakes ! I'd love to driver a Dream of mine! But at the same time I'm scared to death to pursue it. My childhood Lake Michigan was truly our back yard ! Later on I lived in Florida, friends dived yet I'm still scared. Thank you for this video. I guess this will be my way of a diving adventure.

👍Great footage. Yeah, I worked on this ship for 17 years, and I was there when she sank..... I'll never forget that night, when one of our shipmates accidentally dropped a lit match into a pile of oily rags in the hold, and woosh! The whole ship went up in flames! Most of us managed to jump overboard and swam to shore. I'd been with the company since 1887, and after this ship went down, the company put me on another ship for the last 3 years of my career. Then i retired at 62 in 1913.

I know it is probably protected and cost prohibitive, but I would love to see the engine recovered and restored, not that many triple expansion steam engines around.
@aaronskillings73373 жыл бұрын
The engine certainly looks solid enough. In theory, with enough money, i imagine it could be made to steam again
