It took me a while to edit this part of our trip to Southeast Asia, from February 2024. After Kuala Lumpur, we flew to the island of Langkawi and after busy days exploring Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, it was time to finally relax. We decided not to visit the whole island and concentrate our stay in Pantai Cenang area.
We split this travel into two parts, as we also visited Koh Lipe in Thailand, an island very close to Langkawi and easy to reach by ferry. Highlights from this journey include the peaceful Pantai Tengah beach (although the water was filled with tiny jellyfish :D), the cute cat from our accommodation, sighting the red eagles and the trip in the cable cars - even though we are not the biggest fans of heights, the views were worth the journey up!
