Why is EVERY review about how to build them... I want to know if it's practical /durable
@OpenBoxReviews4 жыл бұрын
Mine has help up pretty well but I only use it to hold yarn. My cats have bent one of the doors but otherwise it is in great shape. My daughter had books in hers and she had too many in there and hers didn't hold up as well. Long story short, if the items aren't too heavy they will do the job. My only issue is that I wish the magnets holding the doors closed were a little stronger. Hope that helps.

I found that building a layer of cubes without putting the front connectors on works best. After you slide in the top of the layer, then put the put on the connectors and start the next layer with the uprights only. I have a 20 cube unit so started with the connectors in the middle to give myself some looseness to get them situated, then put the tops on and the front connectors....worked well

You can keep stacking these on top of each other in any configuration you want. My only concern is that I would think the higher they are maybe the less weight you should put in them but I don't know for sure as I just use them for yarn and extra bedding.

Thanks for posting. The enclosed instructions are minimal like...no parts list. Thanks for showing the magnets, I had no clue what they were or where they were to go however, my dilema is the black panels are 2 different sizes. I have more large....about 40 than small..about 22. Large are rectangle small are square. The white doors fit the small ones. I don't understand how this is supposed to work. I did put it all together with many leftover pieces. I looked online for this item and it also shows larger & smaller squares. I purchased the 20 cube unit. Any help is much appreciated. I am currently in the process of disassembling the unit to start fresh. Thank you !

Thank you for responding. I read the posts from the others who have the square & rectangle pieces. They say the rectangles go on the top, bottom, sides and the squares go everywhere else so.....I took it apart and tried the rectangles on the sides and bottom...just a small section and, that didn't work either. I'll try 1 more configuration . Thanks again !

The wire cube set we got for our sons' bedroom years ago seemed very flimsy; of course, that may have been because our kids (grade school-age at the time) were trying to help us assemble it! ;( I like how your cube set has the little doors, though, which would eliminate the need to buy a bunch of fabric bins. I've also seen customer reviews on Amazon where the reviewers added zip ties between the cubes for greater stability. And these certainly look easier to assemble than the wood or particle-board cube shelving!
