Language varieties| Language Variations in Sociolinguistics| Dialect, Accent, Idiolect| Regional Dia

In this video I have elaborated major varieties of Language in Sociolinguistics. Varieties of language include Dialects, types of Dialects such as Regional and Social Dialects, Dialect Continuum, Isogloss, and Register. Also Lingua Franca Pidgin and Creoles are verities of language.
Dialect in Sociolinguistics is any variety of language that is marked by difference in vocabulary and grammar. Accent in Sociolinguistics is any variety of language that is related with pronunciation only.
Types of Dialects in sociolinguistics are Regional and Social Dialects.
Regional Dialects in sociolinguistics are the dialects spoken in one particular region. Social Dialects are marked by social factors and social background of speaker.
Isoglosses in sociolinguistics are lines drawn on map to differentiate between one particular linguistic feature from other features of different areas. Different dialects overlap with each other and merge to form a dialect continuum.
Dialect continuum is phenomenon in sociolinguistics in which chain of dialects continues and is mutually intelligible. But at further distance dialects became unintelligible. This Phenomenon in sociolinguistics is known as dialect Continuum.
Pidgin in sociolinguistics is language with no native speaker. Creole in sociolinguistics is language that developed from pidgin.
The term of Regional and Social Dialects in sociolinguistics is also discussed with example. Difference between dialect and accent is also discussed. I have explained the concept of Dialect Continuum and Isogloss in Sociolinguistics.

Sir you say if some one not understand each other it's mean they are working different language but there is no proper language we just speak dialects of different language not language so if some one not understand each other it's mean they are speaking different language of dialects German people not speak in Chinese and Chinese is not speak in German so it's a different language of dialects am I right?

Yes you are right, sometimes dialects of same language are not mutually intelligible such as some speakers of chinese can't understand each other. So the second criterion is to check for writing system. If speakers share common writing system, they are using different dialects of same language.

Dear, while differentiating them always keep in mind that Pidgin is not a native language of any community, while Lingua franca can be a native language of a particular community. e.g English can serve as lingua franca for a meeting between Arabs, indians, pakistanis and americans. It is also a native language of one speech community involved in meeting i.e Americans. Moreover, pidgin is a language with limited vocab and grammar while lingua franca is full fledged already existing and well spoken language . Further the birth of a pidgin language involves creating a new language from two or more existing languages while lingua franca is already existing language spoken by speaker involved in communication. Is it clear? otherwise i will make video on it
