I just started watching this today. I want to learn some basic greetings because I have been meeting immigrants where I live who only speak Arabic, and I want to be able to communicate with them. This is a very easy format for me to understand. Thank you for the simplicity and clear explanations, and eye catching little drawings. Very well done.

Does not 'sukran' and 'afwan' have different gender form?
@amnaalkhemeiri64723 жыл бұрын
It is a great question. The answer is: No, they are the same for both genders. "Shukran" = thanks While "Afwan" has a similar use to the phrase (you're welcome), as it is a reply to a person who is thanking you. But, you can also say: "Shukran Laka" (for male) "Shukran Laki" (for female) Where "Laka" and "Laki" means ("to you" or "for you"), so the whole phrase would mean (thanks to you). I hope that my answer is clear and helpful for you =)

Thank for these nice videos! Very appreciated. I have a question. Why are their some places where we can see the tashkeel and others no..? , For example, in "ismuka", we see the fatha and the kasra, but to make the sound "mu" there would have to be dammah, on the "m", and there's none.. How do we explain this? Same question for the maybe missing dammah at the end of "Assalamu"! Thank you! :-)
@LanguageAnimated7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for Commenting dear, Of course we use these kinds of Harakat while we are writing in Standard Arabic which we call Quranic Arabic, But there is no any problem if you don't use while talking to someone, I didn't use Harakat that's why I wrote down every sentence the pronunciation with English letters so that people can read them,,, But I'm gonna make separate series of Arabic learning videos for absolute beginners and there I am gonna explain all these things one by one. Thank you again :) Keep Learning
@sssabooo7 жыл бұрын
yeah I've realized that you don't have to put them! It's just that there is really no way for a beginner that already knows how to read (i've learn all the letters and sounds already, now just need vocabulary and etc.) to see the words in arabic and know exactly how they are pronounced without them. And I really prefer to read the arabic script then the "english letters" to learn correctly the pronunciation. (You cannot pronounce correctly all the words with only english letters, so I prefer the arabic script to make sure i use the right sound). That's why I love when the harakats are all there! But I found that I can only see that in children's books and in the Quran, which is pretty annoying since I really wish I could see them straight away everywhere while trying to learn in such good videos, so that I can only focus on the arabic script to memorize the arabic words better (in addition to knowing exactly how they are pronounced), to hence be able later on to not need the harakat anymore... I don't know if you understand what I mean? I will never memorize the words in arabic if i always have to focus on the english words to say them (and probably not even say them correctly because of this). lol But i guess it must be a little bit more work and annoying to put them all, but i figured I'd still mention it just in case! :-) Thank you so much for your answer and your time and your effort on all of this! :-)
@LanguageAnimated7 жыл бұрын
You are welcome, i agree with you, Since you are not able to read without harakat then you need them,, But don't worry,, You will find the lessons in your idea in upcoming videos,,, No worry :)

Ana is use with Ismi??? Confused.
@art_fatima_egy4 жыл бұрын
Explain more may I help u😊
@amnaalkhemeiri64723 жыл бұрын
There are several ways in which you can introduce yourself. NUMBER 1: Ana (أنا) = "I" or "myself". The 1st PHRASE is: Ana [name] = I am [name] NUMBER 2: Ism (اسم) = name And the "i" letter at the end of the word "ismi", which is written as ي in the word اسمي, indicates that the name is "mine". So, the "i" letter has the meaning of ("of my own"). So, "ismi" means ("the name of my own is" or "my own name is"). The 2nd PHRASE is: Ismi [name] = my own name is [name] NUMBER 3 (It seems as a combination of both previous ways of introducing yourself). The 3rd PHRASE is: Ana ismi [name] = myself's own name is [name] I hope my answer made it clearer and easier to be understood =) I hope it is helpful.

What dialect is this?
@art_fatima_egy4 жыл бұрын
It's classical Arabic which all Arabs r able to speak it
@amnaalkhemeiri64723 жыл бұрын
It is the "standard Arabic" which mostly can be found in books, formal speeches, newspaper and in the Holy Quran (Islamic scripture, which is the Muslim's religious book "similar to the Bible"). It is used in all formal situations, and you can also call it the "classical Arabic language". You can use it to communicate with people from all the Arab countries (which are 22 countries). So, it is the common language, but mostly we (Arabs) do not use it in our daily conversations (we use our dialects and accents which differs from a place to another and can differ between a tribe and another). But, all Arabs understand the "FuSha" (the classical standard Arabic) as it is our mother tongue language.
