I think you should respect the Arabic language by using common religious sayings like. Ramadan Mubarak but not everyone should have to learn arabic, they should have koran translated to the language of that other muslim country so the people can learn it. Christians all learn the Bible in their own language and respect Greek as the language of the New Testament so they will say Kyrie Eleison and a few more words like when the Arab Orthodox chant they respect the Greek and chant the first verse in Greek and the rest in Arabic and we Greeks appreciate that respect ) but we don't expect them to learn Greek its hard.

Yea but it's best to learn the alphabet and how to write it, because how can you learn a language you can't read ? Greeks, Jews Russians, Chinese and many others have their own alphabet so when I teach Greek I first teach the alphabet and the sounds so then they will learn to read it. Arabic is hard because the letters connect where as in Hebrew for example the letters have space so if you learn you can understand it. I just had more interest in Arabic because I loved singing. now I'm more into Chants so I can learn my faith just as muslims learn and understand their koran. I'm learning it in both languages Greek and Arabic and then I also learned a little Russian since I used to go to a Russian church in NY

I’ve been Qatar since 2018.8 And joined Arabic class before Covid-19. Arabic class has opened now. But not joined yet. As a foreigner, not a Muslim Arabic is very difficult to learn first.
