Reading 27. Isn't the statement right? Her/His friend is looking for a place to live because he wants to live a bit nearer to the company. Doesn't it mean that now he lives far from the company?

It is confusing statement.... I have answers book of it. It mentioned "true" but here in video it mentioned "false". According to chapter 12 "A friend lives far from his/her company so looking for house near to his/her company.... If we consider previous chapter example so answer would be "true". But in the statement didn't mentioned person lives far, it would be "false". Literally, so confusing 哈哈。

Irritating, despite how good these books are (material-wise), they let themselves down with LOADS of mistakes. Or here it’s a style change which keeps you guessing. Previously i would have put a cross because we don’t know, but previous answers encouraged us to not think too critically like this and just think of the implied likeliness, that it’s just meant to be a simple question for learning Chinese, but here it contradicts that style of thinking, keeping us guessing and confusing things again
