Lani Misalucha was named the best female singer in Las Vegas by Las Vegas Journal Review around the time when Celine Dion was supposedly the queen of Las Vegas I think in 2008. Celine was so curious that she went in disguise to one of Lani’s shows to see who beat her. She has a five octave range and can sing any genre. She is very talented. Moiresette is good but it will be a long time before she will be to the level of Lani Misalucha. Watch her rendition of Puccini’s Neesun Dorma.

We were there! It was just sooo different when you are watching it live. Lani’s classical prowess was so impressive! I totally agree! They're both great belters, but what sets Morissette apart not just in this performance but overall, is that she does more with her voice. I've listened to so many Filipino artists and they're all amazing, but Morissette doesn't just hit the high notes, she finesses every note with riffs and runs, voice breaks, whistles, and growls. She does so many things so beautifully and that's why I never get tired of listening to her.
