The friend was Jinho Bae he said that mori and her team translated into English. Most of the song was in English the last part was Korean. She paid tribute to the Korean people with this song. This was her thank you for being invited back to Korea

She almost not to attend that festival because she needs more rest to recover her voice from several concerts but she really want to grab that opportunity to connect to Korean fans. She even sing the last song in Korean at the last part. I was actually relieved when the audiences are no longer zombies like what happened last year, now they are shouting and asking for more. They seem to like Morisette's imperfect voice singing Korean at the end part. Those imperfections made a perfect moment with the Korean audiences.

im not sure if u noticed but on the last part of the song, Mori wanted to show the majority of the korean audience her appreciation and respect towards the Korean culture and somehow let the original lyrics be felt like home getting 'em sing with her with ease. Mori wrote the english version of the song and she asked her korean friend who is currently residing here in the Philippines named Jinho Bae (youtuber) to teach her how to properly pronounce each words in hangul (korean language) and that was just less than 2 weeks before this event ASF 2018 and her concert not to mention she was sick on that day despite all that she gave her all on that performance

She really knows what she’s doing, the voice control, the hoarseness on her voce added character to the song, and I think it was intentionally added, the vocal breaks, the resonance on the high notes, as one vocal coach says, she can manipulate her voice the way she wanted to be. She is a superstar!

I loved her rendition of Lee Young Hyun's Resignation.. Wow.. Lee Young Hyun is a powerhouse vocalist, her songs are not easy to sing. Morissette gave justice to the song and she made it her own version... I'm so proud of Morissette.. I loved her rendition of Resignation. She sang with so much raw emotion, especially at the end, the bridge where she shifted to Korean.. Wow. Morissette needs to sing that in the Wish bus! Same style like how she did here, with an English version but at the bridge she shifts to Korean. Really hope she sings it in the Wish bus! So proud of Morissette.. She did an amazing job, really represented the Philippines well. Being completely honest, I actually like her performance for the ASF this year more than last year's. Her performance for 2017 was amazing, she sang Secret Love Song and Emotions. But I prefer this year's because it's so unexpected and surprising and she killed it! She slayed it. I know some people didn't like that she picked Throwback for the 1st song, but I loved it! It showed that besides singing and belting, she can also dance and rap. And she was so energetic and hyped, she really hyped up the crowd. I like that she started off with a high-energy, upbeat track and then ended the set with a big power ballad. We've just never heard her sing Throwback on a big stage like this before, and this is the first time she sang a Korean song too, so there was a lot of surprise factor in this performance. Really loved it. Very proud of her!

I think she chose to sing her song Throwback to commemorate her experience last year in Asia's Song Festival. Morissette also haven't fully recovered yet from losing her voice on her concert Morissette is Made in Dubai. Before ASF, she had a concert with Ms. Lani Misalucha after her concert in Dubai. Her singing techniques are just amazing that even though she's struggling, she sounds so good that it adds character to the song.
