Love, love, love Lantana, especially the yellow/orange combo. Can't wait to live in Florida so I can grow it year-round.

Yay! Thank you Lauren! I was inspired the other day to start taking the passion vine runners and prune them for tea... solve two things at once...

@@WildFloridian haha! It always surprises me when that happens cause it’s like oh wait! That’s me! 😂 I love her channel. I’d love to have a home/garden somewhere between hers and Roots and Refuge! Lol

Oh you added Pineland Lantana?! Yay! How is your garden going? It has been 3 to 6 months, since you started adding natives, if I remember...
@RaetheSaint3 жыл бұрын
@@WildFloridian Yeah! It's been going really well and I've added a lot more plants. I need to take a few pictures to add to the Facebook group but the space is starting to fill out really nicely now

Are you in South Florida? I can't find any nurseries that have Lantana Depressa.
@RaetheSaint3 жыл бұрын
@@drewsg3 there’s one in Lake Worth called Amelia’s Smartyplants. I don’t know if they have it in stock right now but the Florida Native gardening group on Facebook is really nice and there are people who are willing to exchange or give cuttings

So weird...I go to a native nursery and see butterflies all over the lantana....I get it home and my butterflies (se florida) ignore it....this happens to me all the time....

I live in The Villages and need to add some landscaping in the north facing front of my house. Would lantana grow well?
@WildFloridian3 жыл бұрын
Based on how close you put it to the building... maybe. Too close and it won't get enough sun. If it is a good 4 to 5 feet out (assuming you live in a one story). It could get enough sun. Cheers! Hope that helps.

I grew up in S FL and they were weeds. Never used in yards but I recall using them as Barbie bouquets haha. Finally back to Fl so time to get some.

I'm wondering if you should take this video down after watching your other Lantana videos?
