"Lantern Festival" Danganronpa Speedpaint

I'm able to share this piece I completed a few months ago for a Danganronpa 2022 fan calendar, so here is the speedpaint process! It's quite a long video and I had to speed it up a bit so feel free to slow it down and play your own music if you'd like (since I used copyright free music anw)! I'm not sure how I feel about this piece as a finished product but I am proud of all the effort I put into it! It was definitely outside of my comfort zone with character interaction + a fully rendered background ^^ I hope to branch out and improve in my abilities to do environmental pieces like this in 2022! We'll see ig haha, I have a lot of other projects backed up before I can commit to anything like this again soon ;v;

can we take a moment to appreciate the amount of detail here like- the shading and lighting look gorgeous, even with so many light sources everything comes together beautifully (i applause you), the colors go so well together, the perspective and anatomy and clothing folds are flawless
