Stage 18: I've ridden up the Loze in the Haute Route via Courchevel at he end of the stage... Courchevel in itself is long and brutal, the last part from Courchevel to the top is insanely difficult. After the Glandon and the col de la Madeleine and a couple of weeks in the legs... This will decide the tour. Having done it all I have to say is good luck to those poor bastards who have to do it!!!!

It's a pretty interesting subject. We know for sure that fetuses start to develop their memory. It is called prenatal or fetal memory. It is important for their development and mostly helps them recognize their parents and and other familiar sounds. Whether or not people can actually vividly remember these memories, way later in life, is unclear. It is not that uncommon that people claim they have memories from the womb. Therefore, the idea can not just be discarded. But it is currently impossible to prove if said memory is actually from the womb, or just a different place/time or made up all together.

On Stage 18 a good team could stick it to the Pog! But it has to be a good team that can wear out UAE. Long, steep climbs has been UAE's soft spot in the past. My fingers are crossed that this is not another walk over grand tour! I sure hope MvDP and WVA are in form for those puncheur stages!
@Northbriton17 күн бұрын
I think it will all depend if pog has a decent advantage going into the stage. Don't think UAE will be able to pace and win him that stage, but if he has a lead then he could probably just sit in and follow the visma train. might not win but wont lose much time that way

Ineos should go all in for stages at this TDF with Pidcock as leader and send Rodriguez to the Giro Vuelta double. Rodriguez would lose a lot of time in the TT and would bleed time on every punchy stage due to his lack of explosiveness. Peak level Pidcock could do well on the punchy stages, get the likes of Tarling, Turner, Sheffield and Kwiato with him and it could be a break out race for Pidcock

Stage 10 comparable to 11 in 2024, hautecam similar to pla d’adet, plateau de beille is a bit harder than the stage 14 2025, 18 and 19 2025 seem somewhat similar to 19-20 to 2024 but climbs are ~7km harder. Ventoux , mountain time trial make a big difference backloaded, comparing that two the galibier stage 4 in 2024. less overall elevation backload but harder cuz back end is ridiculous. Bottomline is differences between dominant GC rider will be greater. Just making sure I heard you guys correctly.

If lidl-trek want to maximize wins, Pedersen has to work for Milan in sprint or sprintlike stages, in the stages where Milan "maybe has a chance to survive" the team should work for Mads. I think that both coud win more if they race together trying work for each other than race separate calendar (like in GW 24)

@@SeamalicousBang on. People thinking Jonas is washed after he spent a week with a tube in his lung at the key point in his tour prep and still took a stage off of probably the greatest rider of all time is insane.
