We ate in Playa Mar twice in January, good food and service. On our second visit we booked the table for 8pm and arrived 25 minutes late. The guy out the front was rude to us so I threatened to leave and that changed his attitude somewhat. Shame he behaves like that as they lost out on a very nice tip from us.

Don't get disheartened by the actions of this cretin Vince , he was probably just ashamed of some of the prices on the menu!! You are alway so utterly respectful of the public when you film , never wishing to intrude on anyones privacy even though they are in public. Im not sure of the laws regarding this in Spain but im sure they must be broadly similar to those here in the UK (at the moment) , in that you can more or less film whatever you can see from a publicly accessible area. Unfortunately this guy is a member of the very VERY small group of rude , arrogant and ignrant staff that we have encountered in our 20+ years of coming to PDC. Assuming he is an employee , i hope his boss gets to see this video and takes appropriate action. On the other hand i must say that the vast majority of bar and restaurant staff do a wonderful job and are so warm and welcoming in what i know at times can be a very pressured and frustrating job. We have become friends with many over the years and with some it almost feels like they have become family when we get to see them. Another boycott for Playa Mar from us , not that we have ever eaten there. Keep up the vlogs Vince , we love keeping an eye on the place between our trips!

Quite the contrary. Most legitimate restaurants with nothing to hide are only too happy to have their menus displayed on websites whether Trip Advisor or Google and many more . Take a look at" Gypsy Souls " or "Travel on World " and the business they bring to Lanzarote.
