In our opinion, Lanzarote is not a classic quiet beach destination but the perfect place for an active holiday. You might want to research Menorca in the Balearic Islands.

No need to worry, arriving or departing planes don't fly over Tías, they come directly from the sea.

How about parking? I mean are there many paid parkings? I've found nice accomodation in Orzola, but it doesn't have a parking place. Can I park car on the side of the road for free in Towns and Villages?

Parking is not an issue in Lanzarote, free on street parking is easily available in most of the island.

If you are a keen biker and the purpose of your holiday is a bike holiday, it is a good destination with awesome landscapes. Otherwise, rent a car, on a bike you will get to cover much fewer ground.

We don't know, never took any bus, they don't serve the needs of those who want to explore Lanzarote the way we did.
