I love Laotian food! English has multiple words for eat as well... Eat, dine, sup, taste, savor, relish, consume, nosh, devour, ingest, wolf, swallow, slurp, gulp, gobble, guzzle, scarf, snarf, ingurgitate, gorb, inhale, feast, stuff, suck, destroy, demolish, annihilate, wreck, gnaw, bite, chew, munch, masticate, chomp, house... there are more too, I'm sure.
