That partly green native bee at 20:25 is one of our many Striped Sweat Bees (Genus Agapostemon) - not sure which subspecies You'll find them in the wild here in Ontario on open meadow wildflowers like asters, goldenrods, coreopsis, etc....but they love tomato flowers too for whatever reason, and food cherry trees (especially the native ones like pin & choke cherry)

If you going to be doing butterflies like swallowtails and monarchs, the 100-500 is your jam. And I’d use the r3 or r5/6. I’d use the r7 on the 90mm f/2.8 for getting a little extra woking distance on jumping spiders and other small insects.

The Man is back ..... How you adapting to the Canuck way of life ?? .. I have the 100mm EF version . I've no issues with it using handheld . Best bang for buck you can buy imo . Better than the Sigma 105mm .
