Thanks for watching. There’s heaps of roads in Tassie but you kind of end up following around the coast if you want to see most of the state and with a few side trips into the middle if you want to check out Cradle Mt etc. In some spots there is really only one option especially on the West coast which is still very wild and lightly populated.

I would love to do a trip to Tassie, with my wife on my 23' Himalayan 400cc. Now it is not a big bike, but it should do it, especially if we added some foam to the seats. We did an 1983' trip around OZ on a Z250 together, for 9 months, so I think the himi could do it. I am enjoying your vlog, very light hearted. and quirky.

@@kensbikestuff Good to know you’re enjoying the fruits of my labour! I use a program called Davinci Resolve (which is made in Australia and has an excellent free version) to edit my videos and I create the maps inside this program using Fusion which is part of the software. Great video. I'm thinking John's B.M.W must of come off the assembly line mid week. To ride off road and in the rain and still going, well let's face it that's pretty unheard of. I had two BMW's and every time it raind they would stop working. I put it down cause i live in N.Z and at nearly the bottom of the world the rain is heavy as it has further to come. Your motel reviews keep me laughing. And on the riding and seeing your country outstanding. I still think you are going to need the toe rope ..sorry John.

Hey mate. Great stuff. You always ride with specs on? They suck I reckon esp in sht weather when they fog up. I always take disposable contact lenses when touring on the bike and use ordinary contacts (that you clean and reuse) at home. Better vision as well because no edge distortion.

I'm considering to get something low budget waterproof device with better screen brightness. No Garmin. :)

@@krisztiangulyas5068 Thanks very much, I agree with you! The GPS came with the bike and it works well but has a few issues with waypoints in that once you arrive at a waypoint it keeps trying to take to back to it so you can only really set one destination at a time. Other than that it’s pretty good.
@krisztiangulyas50684 ай бұрын
Cool, thank you! I consider to give it a try. I found it on Aliexpress around 130 USD. Oh yes, it's an issue of the iGO Primo. I mean not really an issue, it's a bad default setup I guess, because mine did the same with the waypoints, but I could solve it. Somewhere in the Primo configuration you can find an option something like "Waypoint arrival speed". The default speed is 30 km/h I guess. I did set it up to 100 km/h and now it does not want me to turn back.

I actually wrote a letter to TT line complaining about the disembarking procedure that has bike access start at the same time as cars. We can't just chuck our gear in the boot so it takes time and next thing you know everyone is driving out and the missus is still trying to get her helmet on lol. Why couldn't they give bike riders 5-10 minute early access before the car drivers and kids jam the corridors? Sure some drivers will not get the memo and try access their cars early but most will do the right thing. I didn't get a reply BTW.
