Trouble with CF Moto is the value of the bike pretty much halves as soon as you buy one, and don't know about here but you read stories of people waiting months for spares and accessories (Centre stand). And they have too much tuperware fairing on it that you will scratch or break the first time you drop it. The Kove is an intriguing machine and seems to fit more into the enduro bike with a bigger tank category, which I'm sure means its fantastic off road but only bearable on the bitumen. Does the Himalayan have a remote preload adjustment for the shock? If not, Royal Enfield might consider providing a mounting point for a remote adjustment. Hi, I’ve been watching these Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 some of the KZbinrs are riding them across India and what they put them through. I just can’t believe it. Unfortunately I only have one leg. @@cloud9847 Opinions vary but tubeless seem to be a better option on road but tyre choice for off road is a bit more limited due to the 17” rear. I’d say looks should be decider if these bikes were equal. They aren’t. Not even close. If people choose the CF over the RE based purely on styling they are making a mistake. The RE is superior in every regard. Engine, power delivery, fuel consumption, suspension on and off-road handling. The latter will surprise many as the CF looks like it should be better off-road. I’d also suggest for those on Ls and Ps the a rudimentary though effective Nav system on the RE is also a massive bonus. I’d add some other issues with the CF being it’s KTM knock-off and, for some, the ethics involved in dropping a decent sum on a Chinese product given their record with quality control, workers and human rights.
