Surprised you haven't shown the finished product. Looks great so far!

Have you seen the benders people make out of spoons? You can find on KZbin. Works surprisingly well. I started playing lap steel a couple months ago. One thing I like about mine is the built-in legs -- so it's always set up and ready for you to sit down and start playing, like a piano. I recommend it. Especially if you're making something beautiful, it should be out on display and inviting people to play it. Another thing to consider is integrating a holder/rest for your tone bar, so you have somewhere convenient to place it when you're not playing, so it doesn't just roll away.

I´m new to your channel will the next phase be coming along soon? I imagine that you have looked at the Certano benders. He also has roller bridges and nuts.

So, how did it turn out? Also, did you have any experience with Certano roller nut and bridge? I had a roller bridge on a guitar, it was horrible, gave the guitar a banjo like sound, I swapped it out immediately. On an old Silvertone lapsteel I had conventional plastic nut and a solid Titanal bridge I had someone machine for me (30% titanium makes it sound very glassy and resonant), I couldn't get all strings to sound evenly under the bar, no matter how much I filed, added material, filed again -- a nightmare.
