How wonderful of you to work so hard to be able to do your videos in English when it is not your first language. I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate it. When I lived in Hawaii for five years I taught second graders a special reading class for those children who English was their second language. So I do understand the struggle. It's not just the word but the context in which the word is used that is sometimes a stumbling block with the English language. Bless your heart for what you're doing. Plus you make awesome things and I love coming to your Channel

So so beautiful Eva, I could watch you all day. I think the words you were searching for are "contrast" for the papers, and "thirds" for the sections, so we say "one third, or two thirds", but anyway you always find a way to make the words work for you, you are amazing, thankyou for another inspiring video :)

The man in the flat upstairs started stomping about, which made me slightly hysterical. Get well soon from your chesty cough... I dont know if you know this or not, but if you use a small round paper punch and punch a hole in each end of the pocket slit, it helps to keep it from taring at the ends. I use a 1/8 inch punch.

Hi Eva, I just came across this video of yours about the "Lapbook" that you had just discovered in 2017, but Kathy Orta, now Kathy Orta King, she started doing lapbook KZbin tutorials in 2012 that I can recall, so then lot's of KZbinr's started making the lapbooks by Kathy Orta, which were so awesomely done as yours are, but she is known as the lapbook queen because of how amazingly creative she was & is. I think that's where the schools got the idea of using the lapbooks from because there were & still are lot's of teacher's on KZbin. Take care, Lily Eva, You said further in your video that you didn't copy anything from Kathy Orta because she charged for her lapbook tutorials, which I knew that I watched a lot of her tutorials & she never charged, so I paused your video that I was watching on my laptop & checked out several of Kathy Orta's KZbin Lapbook tutorials & she is still not charging for them, not then or now, so that's pretty messed up that you would down a well known fellow crafter like that just to try to make yourself look better...That is so very wrong!
@BohemianCrafting4 жыл бұрын
Oh I never wanted to messed up with Kathy!!!! I love her channel so much! I didn't mean that she charge for lapbooks. I said that I never purchased any tutorials, everything I know it's from youtube. That what I meant. If my chating gave a different meaning I am really sorry for that. It is because English is not my native language and I have to not only translate words,but also put them in different word order then is in my native language and believe me,that can mess up all sentence. So sorry if you took bad meaning about me from that.
@BohemianCrafting4 жыл бұрын
I just finished to watch this video. I was so depressed,that I may messed up with a name of an amazing crafter I truly love. I can't see anything wrong of what I said in this video at all. I just said I do something a bit different way, that's all. I said that she is amazing, that's how I am thinking about Kathy. For me she is brilliant engineer with a paper. I mentioned her few times in this video, to make sure that people will know I was inspired by her. I believe you love her channel as much as I do and I am really happy Kathy has people like us. I saw many videos where I notice it was inspired by her, but no one said that.
@lilyfultz97024 жыл бұрын
Bohemian Crafting I know that English is not your native language, I’ve watched lots of your videos, but I also know that when you first mentioned Kathy Orta in this video, you made it a point to say that you didn’t learn anything about the lap-book from Kathy Orta because she charged for her tutorials, you couldn’t pay, so you figured it out & taught yourself, which I knew wasn’t true because I had watched many of Kathy Orta’s videos, especially the lap books, but I paused your video & went & started to watch a few of Kathy Orta’s videos to double check what I already knew, that she didn’t charge, then further into your video, you start mentioning Kathy Orta in a more positive way, which I gather is because you knew what you said earlier in the video about Kathy Orta that you had already recorded so much of, you didn’t know how to edit back when this video was made to take that part out, so you had to make up for the wrong you had already done to Kathy Orta & that’s when you mentioned her name a few times in a more positive manner, so it was quite obvious to me as to what you had done & were doing. Giving credit to a fellow crafter for something you’ve learned from them, even if you can’t remember that particular crafters name or KZbin name is a huge step for lots of people, but it makes them so much better because they give credit where credit is due & in turn gets them more noticed, not by throwing digs, saying that you didn’t learn anything from that particular person. Take care, 🎀 Lily 🎀
@BohemianCrafting4 жыл бұрын
I didn't mean or was thinking in any way you describing here at all. There is nothing more easy than to stop the video,delete it and start all over again or edit a video, which I did many times before and after as well, but because I didn't do anything wrong I didn't have to do that. I'm sorry if my chatting in this video gives different meaning than I actually meant. But thanks so much for this chat. I will be much careful of what and how I do explain what I want to explain. Have a great day. Eva

Your hair is gorgeous. The name for the hidden pocket is probably called a 'slit' pocket. Also the way you would say the 3 parts of duct tape would be: 1/3 + 2/3 = 3/3 (or 1 whole) So 1/3 for right side cover 1/3 for left side cover and 1/3 for the spine. btw, your grasp of English is far better than our grasp of your language. 😊 ❤🎉
