If you've seen the LAPD, whenever there is a call for a barricaded suspect, 415 man with a knife, or ANYTHING like that, they have over 10 officers there for an arrest team, or even more. I'm the sergeant on that call. That's normal for us, and for them. We're not a DOJ server where we move onto a suspect immediately after shooting them. Sorry.

I remember a department in California that had Regural Patrol Officers use Patrol carbines/rifles with suppressors it was like Pasadena PD or somethin. And LAPD D platoon probably actually do have Suppressors is some way on there rifles.

More and more agencies are adopting suppressors, but it’s a slow roll because there are pros and cons
