Sebas is really bothered about Josh’s feelings about what happened a year ago-I think that threw him off but I am glad he kept apologizing because I put myself in Josh’s shoes and I would be hurt that I am calling someone I care about to help out and they disregard what I am saying and how I am feeling. So glad this was Josh opportunity to speak about it.

Josh is a sweetheart , no one can make me hate him lol. for some reason. Something about him I like. Ppl don’t like confrontational emotional ppl. But feelings are valid. I think he needed to get it off his chest for sure. He loves Sebas. But I’m glad Josh is not the type of friend to not tell his friends their truths.

I really resonated w. sebas he doesn't like asking for help. Which is sometimes a bad thing we really do not know how to ask for support or assistance. So when others ask we assume they can find a solution immediately bc thats how we process things. Its great to hear friends be honest with one another bc we learn how to show up for ourselves and others. Great episode. Josh's & Sebas' emotional intelligence is unmatched 💜

Like I loved you both already but this question, this honesty, the vulnerability and receptiveness from both side is amazing. We don’t talk about this enough. Yes we have expectations but we as humans also want to be cared and loved for. So the fact that Josh willingly brought this up 👏🏼 👏🏼 Maybe each podcast you guys should pick a card and answer it towards the end. End the podcast with love and positivity and bringing awareness to truly understanding how people feel about our actions! I liked this episode because it felt real. Although there were still jokes it was a deeper episode than most. Josh shared an experience during their friendship that hurt him which shows it’s not always rainbows and butterflies how it seems on social media sometimes. Everyone and every type of relationship goes through things. It’s about how you handle it and carry yourself that matters at the end. Enjoyed this one 👏🏼

Yes I’m a Capricorn as well. When I need someone in a bad time(which I don’t ask for help often) I expect the ppl I care about a lot to be there for me. I’ve felt like Josh before when ppl hurt me in that way n in that moment I take it real personal. But once I’m calm n think logical I just assume ppl just don’t see me that way sometimes or at that moment they didn’t know I truly needed them. But best believe if someone needs me I am there for them.

UNPOPULAR OPINION: Bc everyone only sees Josh as amazing in expressing his emotions BUT Sebas should not apologize for being who he is & Josh could have communicated more clearly to Sebas what exactly he needed him to do. It sounds like Josh didn’t want to beg & Sebas didn’t think it was a big deal. Josh is not seeing Sebas’s trauma response (when he clearly mentions he’s been through a lot) & Josh not being able to see that he didn’t do it out of spite it’s how he was raised to be (figure it out yourself vibes) so you can understand WHY he brushed off that moment. I would hate for Sebas to second guess himself bc everyone in the comments applaud Josh for being vulnerable but they both are & no one’s feelings are wrong here. They both could have apologized to each other when you look at it from the other point of view. Definitely proud of you guys for having the conversation though 👏 this is REAL TALK

Sometimes I have a hard time connecting with Sebas pov. I loved that today he owned up to the hurt he caused Josh. Even if it’s not something he would ever consider an issue he knew it meant something to Josh. A true man knows how to take accountability and I love that Sebas let Josh know how much he mattered to him. This is how a healthy friendship handles difficult conversations. PS as someone who is always running late, having something happen after it’s caused an inconvenience for the person waiting on you, can raise my anxiety to another level. Josh was likely feeling those emotions, plus the no help.. Eesh. Glad they talked it through.

56:43 Completely 100000% understand Josh when he explained how he was hurt when Sebas didn't show up for him. I've noticed that ppl that are like Sebas (don't ask for help; get it done w/o assistance from loved ones or anyone for that matter) they tend to expect the same from everyone else, which includes their loved ones. The thing is that it's really special to FEEL that your loved ones are there for you & show up for you no matter what, even when you don't necessarily ask them for help. They're like your pack! For example, if a random person that you don't really even know shows up for you more than the person you called to ask for help (& you noticed hesitation) 😬🥴 that would really feel messed up. I hope Josh understands that his feelings are very much valid & no he isn't being emotional.

Sebas thank you for being vulnerable even when it’s uncomfortable and for showing men that it is okay to admit when you are wrong and apologize when you hurt someone you care about. You don’t get enough credit! ❤

The emotional maturity they both have and sebas ability to really take responsibility for his actions and apologize to Josh says so much about them two. It’s not very common for 2 grown men who are friends, to have these types of conversations and really grow and learn from them. I love watching them both and La Plática is definitely one of the best podcast out there. Love you guys!!! 🩷

that’s so shitttyyy for a friend to call you for help and you not show up for them and then sit there and tell them it was because you wouldn’t have asked for help, the principle is he needed your help and you didn’t show up. I would definitely feel a way about that too.

Who ever questioned their relationship couldn’t have been more wrong. This is such a healthy and honest relationship. Both receptive to hearing eachother and understanding one another 😭❤️ Proud of Sebas for seeing and owning and correcting where he was going about it the wrong way and proud of Josh for articulating his thoughts in such a kind and patient manner. These are MEN y’all. True Kings👑

I loved this episode! The ending took a turn but I think for the better of Sebas and Josh’s friendship. I admire hope in tune that Josh is with his emotions and I am glad he was not afraid to be vulnerable. I hope after this their friendship is stronger now that Josh got that scenario off his chest. Love you guys ❤

I don’t think Sebas reaction was off. If anything I think he felt bad and was trying to think back to that moment. From his body language you can tell he felt bad. He’s the type of guy that will try to find a way to make it right.

Josh gives a example about something sebas did that hurt him and sebas finds a way to give examples about what he would do instead of just making it about josh. Sebas has to just talk about himself. Josh is so genuine and patient. The two are very different. Sucks how much this happens cause it is my favorite podcast.

I think sebas just needed to hear it cause i know i was raised to be independent and figure things out on my own so i wouldn’t have thought it was a big deal and sometimes we forget that others weren’t raised the same way. No one is perfect. Sebas seems like the kind of person that will hear it once and will make sure he’s always there in the future. Sebas doesn’t get enough credit for how good of a person he is. Growth is hearing your friend out and not minimizing their situation, being able to apologize, not retaliating by saying something hurt him and moving on and then later doubling down on how much he’s sorry and will be there for Josh 🥺 Sebas is goals 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

This was a good episode! I like Josh calling Sebastian out, tough conversations are important and necessary. One of the most important things I have learned as an adult is to first: listen, second: acknowledge and validate the other persons POV/ feelings and to then talk about what steps could be taken otherwise so the other person doe not feel XYZ.. love seeing men talk about these things ❤

Being goofy & funny & conscious about other people’s feelings, and always complimenting everyone, & extremely well mannered and respectful. Having all of these separate qualities is great, but having all of them together is hard to find… 💙💙💙💙 RIP Adrian, you are so missed 💙💙💙💙

I love and admire them both for many reasons. They are so different and you can see how different they navigate through their emotions. In whatever relationship you’re going to hurt each others feelings so I don’t understand the hate towards Sebas…confrontation can be overwhelming for both parties but as humans we make mistakes and that’s how we learn. That’s how’s it grows, organically at that. Please don’t ever stop communicating because I love you guys as a duo💖

I loved this video. I think you both are super mature & the way you guys can communicate is awesome. I feel like even though it was a year ago incident, you can tell Sebas was hurt that he made Josh feel that way. I don’t expect anything less of how he continuously apologized & reassured the situation would never happen again. I knew that’s how he would have reacted & that he would be hurt that he hurt someone close to him. I thought this episode was vulnerable & probably one of my favorite episodes by far.

The gas situation was incredibly honest and Josh that took such vulnerability to share that on a public platform like this. Sebass, apologizing while explaining "I would never ask someone for help like that if I was in that situation " wasn't the move bruh lol I say that in a nice way not meaning to sound but when people apologize for things while saying "I wouldn't be hurt over something or need something like that but I'm sorry" is kinda 👎👎 but you're both really great dudes so and this overall convo was so human and so real!!! Props!!
